I think it must have been a thin-blooded chilly, because 6-02-01 is the only year I recall having a jacket (parka actually)... that's the 40 and sleety one pojo is referring to.z-man wrote:maybe it wasn't too chilly for you locals, but we Florida wimps believe the Jim Morris line:pojo wrote:I was at the 06 concert it wasn't that chillyz-man wrote: He played on June 10 in '06, and it was pretty chilly!

6/10/06 54 and drizzling rain can get pretty cold. Or at least that is what my friends from Alabama said.Tiki Bar wrote:I think it must have been a thin-blooded chilly, because 6-02-01 is the only year I recall having a jacket (parka actually)... that's the 40 and sleety one pojo is referring to.z-man wrote:maybe it wasn't too chilly for you locals, but we Florida wimps believe the Jim Morris line:pojo wrote:I was at the 06 concert it wasn't that chillyz-man wrote: He played on June 10 in '06, and it was pretty chilly!

Oh yeah... that's the year I saw the forecast and bought a last minute pavilion seat on BN... best move I ever made! I was too high on cloud nine to consider a jacket or notice it was cold!Patriotic Phlocker wrote:6/10/06 54 and drizzling rain can get pretty cold. No problem with being with my wife but could have done without the 54 degree damp breeze. But we made the best of it and are left with warm mammo...I mean memories.Patriotic Phlocker wrote:Nice, I was stuck at the top of the lawn with my wife and a nice evening breeze.RinglingRingling wrote:no. come to think of it, I was being used as a heat source to keep a really pretty redhead from FL warm. and that was with her using my jacket too.Patriotic Phlocker wrote:Did you have your hands between two big fluffy pillows?

we were under the roof, but I really should have packed a second jacket for her. by the end of the night, it was not pleasant at all.Patriotic Phlocker wrote:Nice, I was stuck at the top of the lawn with my wife and a nice evening breeze.RinglingRingling wrote:no. come to think of it, I was being used as a heat source to keep a really pretty redhead from FL warm. and that was with her using my jacket too.Patriotic Phlocker wrote:Did you have your hands between two big fluffy pillows?

I was at that show... 6/2/01! We all had on jeans, sweatshirts, and rain coats (or ponchos or rain suits).pojo wrote:I was at the 06 concert it wasn't that chillyz-man wrote:He played on June 10 in '06, and it was pretty chilly!Capt.Flock wrote:I doubt it jimmy has not played in alpine that early that i can remember

The lawn was a muddy mess!
That was also mentioned on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays... "no rain this year"
The 06 Alpine show was fairly miserable also, but the sun did come out which made it not soooooo terribly bad.

They are just about all sold out!
We stayed at Americ last year & it was tolerable. Barely.

We stayed there the last two years. Two years ago was much nicer party than last year. Are they doing the $80 per person party fee? The Band they got last year had to learn 4 Buffett songs to play that night.bufitonmybmw wrote:I just booked the Country Inn in East Troy! Make sure to request they turn up the heat on the hot tub because it is always very cool for Buffett weekend.Patriotic Phlocker wrote:We stayed there the last two years.
