I just called to reserve rooms at a hotel in Weirton, and I booked 2 nts.... the night of the 21st was a lot less than the night of the 22nd......

(being in the travel industry), and that being a Monday in Tuesday tells me it goes up a lot because of a local event that would drive up the demand for rooms.................

I also called to reserve a room at a nearby hotel today, and was told by the hotel rep. that availability is getting low because, "Jimmy Buffett is coming to town on the 22nd".

hey! another buffalonian. i also reserved rooms this week. the person i spoke to wouldn't tell me if i had the right date, but said if not i was really close.

Just did some research...July 29th is the only Tuesday show confirmed so far...all others are Monday, Thursday or Saturday - HMMMH.

Could be Monday the 21st? Long weekend would be ok - but not for me...due with a parakeet on July 19th - Sounds like I'll miss the show this year

I think that would put it too close to Alpine. Things seem to be pointing at the 22nd, I'm afraid.

Actually, it's worse than that: Cincy 7/17 to WI 7/19 to PIT 7/22 to IL 7/24 & 7/26...that seems like a lot in a very short time - and a lot of zig-zag, too.
