Hey guys whats up...I live here in Southern Maryland...(Patuxent River Area)...We have this little Ticketmaser Outlet down here and they are always posting when and where events are going on sale...It's a real hole in the wall place....Anyways they have a sign posted that says the following...TICKETS ON SALE SOON FOR THE JUNE 28 JIMMY BUFFETT SHOW AT NISSAN PAVILION DON'T MISS THE LAWN PARTY!!!! I'm going to go down there at 10:00 this morning and try to find out where they got that information..Because nobody seems to know....Hell I even emailed customer sevice at nissan and all they said was...AS SOON AS WE KNOW...WE WILL POST IT ON THE WEBSITE...So there you go...Maybe June 28 is our date!!! Maybe we will here today!!! But as soon as I talk to the lady down there to find out how she heard I will let everyone know!!!!

This is from another string that someone posted earlier today. However, last year's show was June 28th. It's very possible the sign is still there from 2007. But, we can hope, because the 28th IS a Saturday.

Yep, thought the same thing about the June 28th date. (Had to go back and look on last years calendar.) Oh how nice it would be though for another Saturday night.

That would be a great date for the show, although I'd personally prefer it later in the summer, but I'll take it whenever it is!

Ok guys heres my update...i just went by and talked to the idiot lady at the Ticketmaster down here...Not only was the June 28 sign not posted but she said.."Well uh thats not a confirmed date and we took the sign down because everybody kept asking about it" So I'm guessing nobody is sure about Nissan yet....Sorry for the false alarm...But man I just can't understand what the holdup is....

Hey Drunk, that's so odd that she would have posted that sign up there. Did you get a sense that it was a mistake from last year's show or that she's leaked information that shouldn't have been released yet???

At this point, I am praying for any date at Nissan. What the &*&* is taking so long?

I know everyone is really anxious to get in that traffic on Route 66. Can't wait for that either. But hey, comes with the territory.

Come on JB, stop hiding. Come on out with our Nissan date, NOW!!!!

If his holiness does come to Nissan, the BuffettNews tour page will have the info on it as soon as anyone. I have that page set as my browser home page so it's the first thing I see when I start my PC every morning. I highly recommend it!

Actually I am too...Nissan is the only "regular" stop left that doesn't have a fairly firm date yet.

After 10 or so years of having the D.C. area show(s) go on-sale around St. Pats Day, I'm am getting a little nervous.

Maybe he trying to strike a deal with Camden Yards (which was a possibility a few years ago). . .or maybe even the new Washington Nationals ballpark!!!

Nationals Park would not be a good venue at all. Tailgating would be at a minimum as there is very little parking available near the stadium. And I doubt that the powers-that-be for the Nats would want their brand new field chewed up from a concert.

I'll just patiently wait for a Nissan date. I'm sure the date (or dates?

) will be announced soon.

I am sticking with my original prediction of Labor Day weekend. Two dates. Saturday and Monday. I don't think June 28th is even on the radar for Buffett at Nissan. That has to be a mistake using last year's date.

I hope Nissan and/or Buffett release these dates soon. I am ready to move on to other Summer plans.

I am ok with giving this another week, but after that, perhaps, just perhaps, Nissan ain't happening this year!!! I hate to say it, but what if that is the case?

But why wouldn't he play Nissan? Isn't at least one of his band members from VA?

Considering the fact I haven't missed a JB show in the MD/Chesapeake bay area (Merriweather, or Nissan) in at least 12 years, this would certainly s*** butt...
