The place looks great!!! Yet another reason to consider relocating to sunny Florida!!!!
I'll be anxious to hear the everyone's opinions and reviews once it opens, too.....
Would be nice to see another shiny new M-ville open in Atlantic City, NJ or Newport, RI maybe????

Yesterday afternoon, my wife and I drove from our house in Miramar Beach, Fl. over to Panama City Beach to see the new Margaritaville. It was about a 45 minute drive. The restaurant is in Pier Park, a beautiful new outdoor mall. Margaritaville has a perfect location facing the Gulf of Mexico. The old Panama City Pier is located directly across the street. The entire front of the restaurant is an multi-level covered deck allowing the customers to feel the Gulf breezes. As we walked by, a sympathetic worker loaned me his hard hat and allowed me to go inside for a peek. The first thing that you will notice is three large cannons overlooking the main dining area and stage. I am not sure if the cannons are functunal, but it does remind me of the "volcano" prop at the Orlando Margaritaville. Also as you look up in the main dining area, there is a scale replica Hemisphere Dancer hanging from the ceiling. The bar is off to the right (as you walk in). The bar isn't complete, but it is an inviting free form shape. Further to your right and down a few steps is a very large Smuggler's Hold retail area. I didn't get to spend much time inside as a gentleman who must have been a project manager kindly shooed me out the door. I returned the hard hat to the worker who loaned it to me and thanked both of them for the opportunity to peek inside. As we left, the same gentleman who asked me to leave the construction area caught up with us and informed us that the grand opening is currently set for March 5. Thats all I can share with you at this time.
