You and that other dummy had better start getting more personally involved in your work, or I'm gonna stab you through the heart with a f**** pencil

I love that movie..everything from Grodin describing Lyonnaise potatoes to DeNiro "shaking his head vigorously to Grodin while telling the bad guys on the phone "I'll shoot him and dump him in an F'in ditch"

It truly is one of the most underated movies ever. Great acting, great action and great dialogue...

Don't say a f**** word to me, Sidney. Don't you say a f**** word, or I will get up and bury this telephone in your head.

I could go on...

does this shared bond of the movie Tron make up for my Pauly Shore appreciation?

No Mel Brooks on the list ?!?!?!?what about
History of the World
Spaceballs
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles

Or even some Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies

some Dudley Moore classics like "Arthur" or "10"

Steve Martin Classics like the Jerk, Roxanne, Dirty Rotten Scondrels

Jim Carrey's Dumb & Dumber

early Eddie Murphy like 48 hours, Beverly hills Cop, Trading Places, Coming to America, The Golden Child

Indie film "The Gods Must be Crazy"

for action, how about

Escape from NY

Warriors - who can forget the beer bottles clinking" Warriors, come out and play"

Jaws

The Deep ( with Jacqueline Bissets wet t-shirt, and a pre-esctasy Nick Nolte)

I'm sure I could come up with more....but that's a start of some I'd add to the list

..great list, so far, yes, but still think you're missing some other real midnight classics ...

Fast Times at Ridgemont High
The Who - The Kids are Alright
Quadrophenia
Pink Floyd - Live in Colisseum Pompeii... I'd always pass out to this one, though!
Dazed and Confused
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Master of the Flying Guillotine
Rollerball (1975, the cool version with James Caan))
Logan's Run 8)

and the ultimate bizarro blast.. A Clockwork Orange :D :D :D

Oh yea, I forgot about those. Midnight movies to me are cult films, concert films or the really bizzare (Eraserhead).

why, just out of curiousity, would Doc Hollywood and King Ralph be on the list? I like bad movies (Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey to name one) but those two are like painful man . . . :D

Then again, I like Pauly Shore movies so what do I know?
Two words: Naked Chick in the lake...oh wait, that's five words, but you know what I mean!
Dagnabbit, didn't realize the wife was logged in when I posted and now she looks like a $3 perv! Sorry dear!
Anyway, naked chick...same as Stripes with John Larroquette using the telescope into the women's shower room!

   @ Joe
No.. Julie Warner was much more realistic... not augmented like all the chicks in the shower in Stripes. :D
