Okay! I'm reading a lot about the yellow album. At the risk of sounding totally stupid what is the yellow album?

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

The first album I bought was Floridays in 1986, because we were going to see Jimmy at Astro World.
A friend had given me the double ablum vinyl of You Had To Be There in 1978.
Then a parrothead gave me his Fruitcakes CD and One Particular Harbour cassette in 1994, because he KNEW I'd like Buffett.
He was right...so I went out and bought White Sport Coat, Livin and Dyin, and A1A right away.
THEN I bought every vinyl, cassette, CD, VHS, DVD, that has ever been released commercially. (I am missing a few 45s.) My best buy was Live By The Bay on Laser Disc.
My favorite has always been Barometer Soup since that was the first album to be released after I became a REAL
fan. It starts off so happy..."Follow in my wake."

The first was SYKBH, just cause that's how I am when someone says "Hey, you need to check this person out." I start with the greatest hits. From there it spiraled, with me buying new ones as they came out interspersed with older ones that I just needed to have.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

My first album was SYKBH as well (on cassette) I was looking for something to listen to at my job, where we were allowed to use tape players while doing data entry.
(The funny thing is I didn't WANT to use a tape player, but there was ONE person that occasionally would "break into song" when she was listening and I had to resort to the tape player to avoid distraction
