Okay, this topic more than likely has been visited before, but I am going to revisit it again.
What was the first JB album that you bought?
I bought my first 3 JB albums in one day. Last Labor Day weekend I bought Meet Me In Margaritaville, A1A, and Take The Weather With You. My JB collection has grown by leaps and bounds since then.

I know what you mean about it kind of getting out of hand. In the past month I have made Amazon very happy with me by getting 6 or 7 JB albums. This is one thing that can get out of hand, and it is a lot of fun.

A friend of mine had SYKBH and made a copy for me--after that I was hooked. The first one I bought myself (about a week after getting SYKBH) was Feeding Frenzy. After that I soon bought Fruitcakes, which was a new release at the time. It was all downhill from there.

I remember having cassettes and probably 8-tracks also. But now I have all of his CDs. I also have the old albums.

For me it was the Yellow Album, and then my collection blossomed after that. I was fortunate and went to a Half Price Book store where they carry cd's and someone had to of been getting rid of their collection and I picked up about seven other ones soon after that. Only missing a few now.

The yellow album for me as well-recommended by friends taking me to my first concert who told me "this is all you need to know".
Went from there to the boxed set, and then the individual albums.
