Beach Themed Bathrooms
I'm fixing to move into a new house and wanted to do the master bath in a beach theme. I would like to get some ideas from everyone. I'm sure someone out there has some pictures of their bathrooms that they can share.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
We are the people our parents warned us about.....

I just finished painting it and am now looking for beach stuff for the walls. This is more a New England beach cottage type thing. There will be shutters on the window. I wish the mobile in the window came out better in the picture.

I really like it, but it's getting harder to find things.....like the towels.
Do you have a Kohl's near you, they always have a wealth of lighthouse bath towels in my area.

The bathroom in the house I just moved out of...........You can barely see in the mirror 2 of the 5 pictures of Key West, they were the lighthouse, Hogs Breath, Jimmy's old house
?, Capt. Tony's and Sloppy Joes, and the shower curtain and window curtain, have a seashell trim, (don't know if you can tell in the picture.

You scared me.............until I really looked at the picture and realized that the towel rack was where my SIL's tub is , I thought this was my SIL's bathroomScarletB wrote:I just finished painting it and am now looking for beach stuff for the walls. My upstairs (my bathroom) is painted a light lime green (the tile board is, the rest is mahogoney sp? Paneling) The floor is tan vinyl, the shower curtain is cream and shades of green palm trees, the window curtain is a screen print to look , when it's closed, like you are looking out onto a beach with low tide and shells and palms. Towels are all ivory, dark green and the palm print.
Downstairs came with 1942 PINK tile. Not mauve but STRAWBERRY frigin PINK. My son is almost 18 and he didn't want a girly bathroom to share with his 8 y/o sister. So, the walls are painted a wedgewood blue and the border is flamingos. The towels are all pink shades and the handtowels are flamingo embroidered. I have a shelf with a tiki vase sorta thing. I asked Mollie what his name ought to be since he's a tiki God. She named him TIKI BARBER!! She's a Gator! I trimmed the window with a white, tab top valance.Simple and very pretty. (And VERY me!)

Actually YOUR room reminds me I have a bunch of unframed KW prints that will be PERFECT - funny how you buy stuff and unless you frame it/use it immediately you forget about it!

Our bathroom will be done in shades of turquoise and the typical seashells and such.
I just painted my kitchen walls the shade of green (Sweet Midori from Behr paints) in MrMiatas first pic! I love it!! The trim is bright white and the wall behind my stove and fridge will be a coordinating blue color. Jamaica Sky is the name of the color. it looks so cool! I have posters from Wal Mart that depict what looks like a Jamaican or Carribean type outdoor restaurant and another town scene. I have parrots on the window sills and other cool stuff I have accumulated over time that I finally have a place for.
