It is funny how they keep evolving. Once you start, it becomes your ongoing project.
Thanks everybody.

CR, I *love* your bar. We've considered building one outside as well, but first we have to decide if we're going to stay here or sail off to the Outer Banks...
Thanks! Right now it looks nothing like that. It's wrapped against the weather and is this big blue rectangle in the yard.

Waiting to bloom again!

My "bar" is a screened in porch, that at the moment is full of chairs, etc. When it warms up a little more, and I get the stored stuff out of there, I'll post some pics.

Wow! Parrothead creativity is an awesome force to behold! What red-blooded male wouldn't be inspired to personally carve out a corner to call "paradise" within their own castle? I know I am. Can't wait to show and tell the wife about my new "special purpose"!
I know just where I want to build it. Will post photos when it's a mission accomplished. Thanks for the creative inspiration!!

I'm working on something in the corner of the basement family room - part island/ part aviation theme.

I'll post a pic when it looks like a bar.

My wife has ruled out a stage and a pole. :(
tell her she doesn't have to strain herself, that it's for "talent" you'll be recruiting for "guest appearances"...

LIBF: Mine's built around the same Target tiki bar too. :) Yours looks better accessorized...at least so far. :) I'm thinking about what I might be able to do with mine this year...besides continue the urethane coating, so that the bloody thing might last a few more years...
