Jake Shimabukuro on the Conan O'Brien Show

Jake Shimabukuro who gave a dynamite performance at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan last night will appear on the Conan O'Brien show on Tuesday evening February 19th (actually early Wednesday morning).

I told him I worked in the building where Conan's show is taped and asked if there was any chance he could get a guest in for the taping.

Excellent setlist....I couldnt have done half as well....

I was up front with Tropic Al, his wife and Christine (flipflopgirl). We were at the table just about right in front of Jake.

Last night was my first time at the Highline, it looks like a pretty nice place. I map quested it before I left my office to make sure I knew where it was. I wasn't sure how far west on 16th St. I had to go after I got out of the subway.

Conan's about 6'6", plus the funny hair. Jake looked like a little kid next to him.
