Thurs
Bright and early we leave my house to head to Carol's (JumpUp) house. Exchange cars and on the road to Shiner. We missed the tour but were still given 4 tokens each to sample beer. I LOVE the 99 anniversary beer.
After leaving Shiner, we head to LaGrange... tried to find the location to the Chicken Ranch (Best Little Whorehouse in Texas). We didn't find it but found the Drive Thru Liquor barn! If you ever heard Kevin Fowler's "Beer, Bait & Ammo", i think he was talking about this place!
From LaGrange it was on to Round Top. We had a short stop to ask for forgivness at the Smallest Catholic Church in the World. Lightining didn't strike us so I guess we are ok. Made a stop in Round Top at Royer's. They are famous for their pies. They were Awesome!
After Round Top - College Station and a stop at the Dixie Chicken. 2 pitchers for $4.75. It was a great day to sit out and drink a beer. After College Station it was on the Pharm!
The Pharms are great! PharmAide is Great! Life was Great! (Hince the bottle of Advil on the table the next morning for those who needed it)
Friday
We picked up Phritz and Doughnut at the Pharm. We headed to the Dr. Pepper Museum then on to George's Bar for lunch and a "Big O". FYI - for you Pat Green fans, this is the place he sings about in the song.
After lunch - on to Frisco with a stop at the XXX/Truck Stop. We had to get vibrators for the race!
Lots of fun on the trip! Thank you to the Pharms for letting us shack up with them Thursday night!
I had a blast and I hope everyone else did too!
