I know Larry, not you, but anyone else watching?
They are at the top 24 now and the 12 guys performed last night. Of them, I would say 2 were good, 2 were so-so and the rest I could do without. This after searching 100,000 applicants. David Archuleta (17) and the Australian guy (I thought this was "American" Idol?!?!) were the good ones last night.
The girls are on tonight. I already think at least two of them are very good from their auditions. I don;t know all their names...too many yet. Maybe when they get to the top 10. But I think Kristy Lee Cook is good.
Anyone else care to admit they watch?
Anyone watching American Idol (2008)?

Yes, I will also admit that I have been an avid watcher of AI for several years now. When you have younger keets it's a prerequisite especially when their bedtime is before the show goes off and you have to give them a full update in the am. I agree, liked David the 17 year old. We'll see how the girls do tonight.

Nope. I only enjoy the train wrecks that think they can sing in the initial audition weeks. After it becomes an America Votes "Competition", I lose interest.
Let me know when Trop Rock Idol goes on the air.

Paula was REALLLLY out of it last night!!
Most of the guys last night started off pretty slow.... and nervous. There's too many David's!!
Most of them were either singing too slow, or too fast.
No one WOW'd me last night, but there were some good spots, just not great.

D' oh! Sorry Penny. I looked for it and guess I didn't go back far enough.
That being said, there were some good girl performances tonight adn not who I expected.
Of course they are all still in the nickname [hase for me...Irish girl, sore throat girl, Carrie Underwood light, and the little Asian girl were all pretty good.
