With the Krispy Kreme its vacant and there is plenty of space to stage in. The problems will lie for a few people I am learning which are further south of the venue. Perhaps taking Cicero North over to Archer West down to Harlem and Left/South to the Krispy Kreme.
Its a mile or so down from the venue so traffic shouldn't be an issue.
As for coming down 63rd from Cicero . . . it takes you dangerously close to the venue where traffic may be an issue. Looping down Cicero and Around to Harlem may keep you in the clear for the most part.
The Krispy Kreme allows the space and a convenient right hand turn merge. This is my opinion for what its worth.
Thinking of a new game for the prize wheel this year . . . "Find my Sausage". It's more of a mixer/social kinda game - Stay Tuned.

The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

You are going to be hot at me but here it goes. Coming from the south on I55 you would be better to exit at LaGrange Road (RT 45) This would also work for those coming from 294 south and north. Here is a mapquest map showing the shortest route from Plainfield.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Plainfi ... e&2z=60455
If you click the aerial view and zoom in on the lot in the North East corner of where the Route ends you will see the lot I mentioned.
It is the shortest distance to Toyota Park.

No reason to get hot at all. Life is too short.
I guess my thought on the Krispy Kreme is it keeps the out of towners at the Hampton Inn close.
My experience getting to the venue off 55 was smooth and painless.

We no longer will be attending the concert.
Our four tickets are available at any reasonable price if anybody would like them.
They were $86 each, I won't put them on the exchange until tomorrow night .
See Y'all in '09!

how 'bout.......... (I can't believe I'm gonna say this) a 3-way!!!
those of us coming from the north/ Hampton go to Krispy Kreme, we will merge with Matt.....
those coming from south/ meet at the lot with Dan.... after we merge with Matt, we can call Dan to tell him we are getting close to the venue.... then that should put us close to getting into the venue together.....
now, after saying that..... it would be perfect if noone else was on the road!

Actually it's much easier for them to get to 79th & Harlem. Take Cicero South to State Road. Turn right going west on 79th Street to Harlem. It's less of a drive than going to Archer and Harlem.mjeischen wrote:No reason to get hot at all. Life is too short.

If Krispy Kreme is the meeting spot I'll run up there and come back with the group. Two groups would be to complicated.STL PARROTHEAD wrote:how 'bout.......... (I can't believe I'm gonna say this) a 3-way!!!![]()
