There's a half-dozen or so hotels at this site, including some on the page 1 list. Just south of Midway, it's less than 5 miles to the venue. I've stayed at a couple of these places, they're all pretty new & clean.

Countryside Holiday Inn - Nice Hotel $129 6 Miles away. I'd prefer it over the Midway hotels for Pool and BAr. Its a nice place. Just adding an option.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

ok, I booked a room at the Hampton, and hope Nicki can make it to town.
Now I have to figure out tickets since I am working at 10 on Monday!
Nor sure about this venue change-as much as we all complained about Tinley, we knew what we were getting

That is my concern as well. Someone stated in the other thread about there only being 8000 parking spots. At The World parking was never an issue and I always had plenty of room to spread out, now I am just curious if this will be an issue with Toyota Park.ejr wrote: Nor sure about this venue change-as much as we all complained about Tinley, we knew what we were getting
I guess I am in the minority here but I never had a problem with The World.
I was generally ok with the Tinley Park venue too, so we'll have to see about this new place. and the Toyota Park website says 8000 parking spaces, so that info is correct.Hoosier PH wrote:That is my concern as well. I would bet that Thursday will be a zoo, and the staff will be challenged to get their act together for what will hit them for the Saturday show.

The 8,000 figure on the parking is correct. I got that right from the Sales Director at Toyota as well.Hoosier PH wrote:That is my concern as well. I don't see how Harlem Av. is going to be able to handle this traffic...as well as the lots being able to handle this crowd!
I NEVER had a problem with Tinley, either.....there we knew the drill!

To me 8000 parking spots doesn't seem like enough space for the crowd coming. Hopefully I will be wrong.bufitonmybmw wrote:The 8,000 figure on the parking is correct.
