Well Toyota Folks the race is on to bury the Alpine thread . . . luckily you have me to waste posting efforts and inflate post/page count.

I would Guess Thursday will be a bit tamer and they may get out of Thursday without any real issue but Saturday will be a completely different animal.

Thursday's show will sell out also, so you'll have the same amount of people there!

I'm sure it will sell out but the amount of overall space needed/consumed by tailgating Thursday vs Saturday will be less. It'll simply be different.

Ok, kids....official word from Toyota Park management is that there will be seats on the field.

Count me in! With the husband and parents (they've fully converted after I brought them along last year) again this year. Booked 2 rooms at the 4 Points Sheraton. We stayed there 2 years ago and it was pretty decent and right in the middle of a strip of hotels and restaurants.

Now I just have to hope the Ticketmaster Tiki Gods smile on me and I manage to get my hands on some tickets! *crosses fingers*

Hello everyone. Just joined. Has anyone booked rooms for the hotels on page 1 on Sat. night? Just wondering where the serious parrotheads will be. I've been reading on Buffetnews for the last year and I know you guys are serious!!!!

I've been to Tinley the last several years, I'm looking forward to the new location.

Does anyone who's been to Toyota Park know if they have more than two Port-O-Lets in the tailgate lots? If so, it's already better than Tinley in my opinion...

The arrangement I saw was totally different. I was there for Eric Claptons Guitar Festival. The event was inside the venue. There was no need for porta-potties in the lot. I know DMB and Kenny Chesney have played there and had tailgating. I'm unsure of that one though.
