Wait a minute....Isn't there a HC's in Wrigleyville or am I slow tonight? I am not going to take any chances on driving Friday, we are going to take the train. I would like to get there around 11 or depending on how I feel from the night before.

Don't know what is going on for Friday night yet. Where is the Mac show, and who can get me some cheap tickets. The last time I went to a Mac show it got messy. I posted something about that night on here a while ago. I was looking for a recording of that nigtht, it was broadcast on RM, but no one had it. That was a good night....

Here is the post I made 5 years ago about the Mac show:

The other night, while making small talk over some drinks, our Florida trip came up from 12-99. We made the trip from Toledo to West Palm Beach to catch the last show of the year(I know Bubba did the "last" show of the year in Vegas, but you know what I mean), and we went to the Mac show on Friday night. The show was great, and was on RM and hosted by Steve. Does anyone have a copy of this show by chance? I know it is a LONG shot, but I figured what the hell!! I heard it replayed once after we got home, and it came through really good. If you listen closely, when Mac is giving the background on how he wrote In the City sitting at a bar one night, you can hear a very, very drunk man yelling Tina's name. Yes that was me. Mac looked at me, and said, "Yeah, that guy was in that bar that night." Some of the facts may be not what you call true, there was alot of Cruzan that night and that is what I think I remember. I was just wondering if anyone had that show still floating around. Thanks!!

Yes, there is one in Wrigleyville, but it is not the original one.

Mac is playing in Mokena (one exit west of the Tinley Park venue) at 10pm on Friday night. Tickets are $15 and you can readily get them from Ticketmaster.

I think the Mac show might be a game time decision. I don't run as hard I used to in my youth, so I might leave it up to the wife. The venue looks cool and the price is right, so I don't know. Please keep me informed about the game on Friday though. It will be cool to meet for lunch or whatever before the game. Time for bed.....

That is cool and all, but I was kinda hoping the some of guys would join Mac at his show. The last time I saw Mac (see post above) everyone was there, except Bubba. Fingers, The Mayer Bros, Tina, Sr. Utley. What time is Club Trini playing?

Which would be the same time as Mac. I think this also happened last year.

Harry Caray's in Wrigleyville opened earlier this year at the former Hi-Tops. The original restaurant is closer to Downtown.

Just let me know where everyone is meeting at before the game and we will be there. I am not the one to be making plans here, this will be my first trip to Wrigley. They are playing some great ball lately too. This is the year!!

I was so close to going to the show in Detroit the other night, but the wife had to work. Just for shits, I tried ticketmaster around 4:30 and Row D seats came up. I was so p***!

Later everyone!
