Glad you can join us. I hope we got some friendly weather. Keep an eye out for me, I'll be wearing a flower print shirt.

Will do and if I can't find you I will be the guy drinking a Landshark.

I am going on Thursday!
It will be the experiment day, and dry-run for the Saturday fiesta!

A bunch of us will be at both shows. Looking forward to getting some plans set for the Thursday crowd.

Does anyone have an idea of what time to show up? When are they going to let us in? What time is everyone planning to show up?

So thats a "I have no idea" answer. I'm in the same boat. Wish we were going back to Tinley.

It's really very funny---we complained and complained about Tinley, but it was a known entity (though we never were quite sure when they would open the parking lot either).

I suspect that as we get closer there will be information available.

I'm really the red-headed stepchild since I can attend on Thursday only!
(Actually I'd love to have red hair - maybe in my next life) :D

It's funny this thread should stage a comeback because just this a.m. I was checking flight schedules and thinking I should make my reservation soon as I doubt the fares will do anything but rise. :-?

so when anyone has any ideas about time for the festivities, let me know

and have a great week everyone (ejr, is it still spring break?)

This is the information I received directly from Toyota Park...

Hey Cindy,
Parking lots will open at 3pm for Thursday and at noon on Saturday. Gates typically open an hour to an hour and a half before the show/game start time.

I hope that helps.

So we're not a 'typical' show, I guess?!

Northwest always seems to be cheap from here to there, I'm sure you already know this so I will shut up!

hey, all help welcomed :D
I used the kayak.com site and Northwest does indeed have the best fare right now.

Will look forward to meeting you in July!

Yes, I agree. I'm not pulling out all the tailgating paraphanalia for Thursday's show. It will be interesting just to see how it all goes..

Back to school tomorrow, and then a professional conference Wed-Friday. It was nice to finally have a few days off though!
