This is actually a post from my friend Popcornjack. It covers everything you need to know to stop asking questions about the Freeking parking Please read this before you ask about parking.
Thank you!!!
In the Raleigh thread we had a moritorium (or however you spell it) on talking about the heat, because that's all that kept getting brought up. In that spirit, I propose the following:
NO MORE DUMBA$$ QUESTIONS ABOUT PARKING!!!!!
Yes, there will be tailgating.
Yes, there are special "tailgating" lots.
No, the people running the lots don't care if you have a pass for those lots or not.
Yes, the lots will open.
No, nobody really knows what time.
Yes, a gathering of masses will most likely create lots opening waaaaaaay earlier than what the announcements.
No, it doesn't matter what lot you are in, because:
YES, THERE WILL BE TAILGATING!!!!!
It's a Buffett show. If you park your car and manage to go more than three feet without running into somebody grilling/drinking/setting up an inflatable pool/drinking/playing cornhole/drinking/doing jello shots (which is not to be confused with)/drinking/wearing a gress skirt/drinking/participating in a scavenger hunt where one must collect bras and shot glasses/drinking, then you, my friend, are at a WARREN Buffett show.
Please come. You'll have the time of your life. Probably even score some tickets. You will not regret it. My sacrastic response notwithstanding we are a bunch of fun loving, party having salt-of-the-earth people who you will have a blast hanging out with. And you know why?
BECAUSE THERE WILL BE TAILGATING!!!!!!!
If you want to join the caravan, meet us at the IKEA at 2206 S. Columbus Ave Phila, PA 19148 at 10 am. We are not waiting so please be prompt. Mapquest has great directions from all directions.
Once again we will be getting a caravan together for the show at CBP.
Anyone interested, please send me a PM with your screen name, real name and your cell phone number and where you are located.
This way, we can coordinate a meeting spot to drive into the lot together.
Three years ago we used the IKEA on Delaware Ave. (now Columbus Blvd.) in Philly as our meeting spot.
Phinz Up!
Thank you!!!
