Is this the most annoying time of the year??

Post by msu#1 »

Not only is everyone waiting for dates but it seems like all the under 200 post members and newbies come out of the woodwork to start threads asking "Is Jimmy coming to my town?"

It wouldnt be so bad but often a thread with all that info is like two threads down on the page.

and you have to laugh at the people you know are "wannabe scalpers" just looking for info to try and buy some tickets for the one purpose of reselling them.

The day will come when we'll say, "Remember when people used to think this was the most annoying time of the year? JB would announce a few shows and the newbies would start new threads and people would b*tch about their town getting skipped and about scalpers and about ticket prices. Remember? Don't you miss when there was a new tour to b*tch about?" :(

JB's touring this year. Who cares if people b*tch?

When he stops touring we'll probably still have the 20 new "Landshark swims to ..." threads every week. The bitching will never end.

As JB himself says: "Is this great country or what?"

And SGH is right about when he does stop.........then we'll only be able to complain about the new Margaritaville line of "senior undergarments with a tropical flair"....... :pirate: :o

Maybe those of us with under 200 posts own the business and don't have time to spend on "net".
I do sometimes wonder what BNer's that have 1,000's of post do for $$ to buy tickets to the shows.
Just jealous I guess.
We are going to at least two shows, Chicago and Milwaukee. We were hoping for a Cinncy show, cuz we wanted a change of venue, but the Chitown site will probably be okay, anything is better than Tinley! But I don't think that's bitchin!

I posted elsewhere that I think this is the BEST time of year! It's like Christmas, I LOVE it. And I agree with Jen, the time will come soon enough that there won't be a tour to think about. So ENJOY!

I thought this tread was about Valentine's Day. I was going to say that the day has passed.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

This time of year is both exciting and exasperating.
Can't wait to get home from work and catch up.

What...it could happen    ....when I win the Powerball and he plays my backyard
Don't worry, you're invited
Personally, I don't see it as the "most annoying" but the "most frustrating"...still winter with all the snow etc, and waiting for tour dates so I can finalize the rest of my summer plans without missing the GW or Foxboro shows
