Dori and Scott??? Get that Tiki Bar ready!!!!

Now.....how many jello shots can I put in the fridge?
After the Durham show was announced today, I think the Tiki Bar is heading south! HOWEVER! the nissan shows are at the end of the summer and it could be that we make it up there too.
Well the older keets want to go to the Durham show now because they are both ACC (Clemson and VT) fans and 8/30 is the start of football season...which is a religon itself....

The youngest keet wants to go to both....she said the Durham one can be classified as a college visit...... Duke is on her list right now...

I'm trying to make this one.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

That's EXACTLY what I'm thinking. I wouldn't want to have to explain to my kids that I couldn't walk them to school because I was hungover. :) Plus, I've got one starting Kindergarten and I don't particularly want to miss that.
Yea...I can see the poor keet needing years of therapy because his most memorable moment of kindergarten is his dad showing up for the first day of school in a coconut bra and grass skirt..... :o
Wow, that is a disturbing thought. I've never like the grass skirt though, they always seem to chafe in the wrong places. :)

Last evening I booked 2 rooms online at the Best Western Battlefield Inn in Manassas for Saturday, 8/30. This will be our 3rd consecutive year at this place and Nissan for JB.

The motel is convenient to Nissan, rooms are clean, and staff is very Parrothead friendly. They usually have a trop rock band playing by the pool the afternoon of JB's show with food & drinks. A great pre-party spot before the "real" tailgating show..... :pirate:

So exactly where is everyone staying? We have rooms at the Hampton Inn, walking distance from TGIF for Friday night drinks. Would like to know where to hook up for partying on Sat.
Looking for that OPH

We are driving down from Ohio for our last of four concerts this summer. I've never been to Nissan before to see Jimmy. How's the tailgating? What time do they usually open the parking lot? Does anyone out there stay at bull run campground for the show or is it more fun to stay at a hotel closer to the show? Sorry about the number of questions, we just want to be where the fun is!!!

Oh what a summer!!!!
We had a great time at the tailgate.....Dori's bringing the TikiBar... We tried to set a record for the number of people drinking a tequila shot at the same time. We've arrived at Nissan as early as 1:30 and there were many very drunk people and grills were very hot....you'll see on the web site that gates open at 3.....that's not true....but you may need to pay ($20 I think) if you get there real early. And we don't stay at hotels...we live about 25 minutes away..... :D

Carolinadreamin - were you girls the ones w/ the board that held the shot glasses. Everyone stood side by side and took the shot at the same time? If so -- that was GREAT!
