After sitting and waiting forever in the parking lot to leave Alpine last Sat. we decided to get the parking pass for Indy and yikes there are none. I would have never guessed these would sell out. I think I will call the venue today and see what they say. Any suggestions?

BigR, congrats on scoring these tickets!!! I believe it was you that said you won the dildo derby at Alpine. Our tailgate was beside that. We were with rkoener's bus group. We had a blast!!!

Leaving Indy isn't that bad. You either leave a little early (no my recommendation) or sit in the parking lot til security asks you to leave (much more fun).

With the widening of 38, I wonder if traffic is going to be better

Guys I just mapquested this and realized I could drive to this show. I don't think that's a good thing.

So is it worth going or am I gonna end up in jail? There's not much calm about me.

You really don't wanta ask that question. (I try not to count.)

But back to the topic, so how bad is the tailgating? Are the cops gonna give me a hard time?

well google says as long as my nipples are covered I'm good, I may just call the police department. Honestly other than going into the venue I've never had a problem tailgating.

You will be fine. I have never had security give me a hard time about anything. It is a blast.

As for traffic, my wife went to a show last night and said it wasn't bad. 146th St goes out there now and that is the way she went. She also said that is the only way they let people out after the show.

We will be sailing in between 2 and 3pm coming in on 69. Would it be wise to take exit 14 and go the back way in? My concern is leaving the venue as we have a long drive home. What or where is the ideal lots for quick exit if that even exists?
We missed out on the Premier parking. We won these tickets and excited to see Jimmy again.
Thanks for any insight from you Indy area parrotheads!!!!

With the lot opening up early, the traffic is spread out. I would just take exit 10 (which now puts you on 146th St, not 238). Then just take one of the roads to the right and hit 238 and go in.

And we are up next!!!! I can't wait! Monday is going to be such a long day.
