I think the past few years the Buffett ticket demand for the MA shows hasn't been as great as the past. From 1997-2003 tickets were like gold, you couldn't buy them in the secondary market for less than double face. Then after he did the Fenway shows it seemed tickets for the following Great Woods shows were easier to get. But, with the Gillette tailgating being so great last year and with there being so many first-timers there they may now be jumping into trying to get GW tickets next week.

I wonder how that will affect the clubs. I wonder if they will get their usual allotments.

I'm glad he finally released dates but it's bitter sweet since it's going to be nearly impossible to get tickets. I didn't know that Great Woods was so small, that explains why it's so tough to get tickets.

It's not impossible, lots of people here have been there every year, one way or another. It's not a snap but it certainly isn't impossible. Especially if you're willing to sit on the lawn.

The clubs will get their same allotments as previous GW shows.

I'm still going to try and see 'what i get'.. but usually get club tix. They tend to be in section 6 or 7.

I was just thinking the same thing, they're sure waiting til the last minute to put it out there. I don't doubt the source I'm just curious as to why it's taking so long.

I cant't speak for margaritaville.com, but Ticketmaster is always way behind the announcements on this site. They'll get there eventually.
What surprises me more is no tickets on Stubhub yet

I am also growing a little concerned about the announcement, my wife and I booked the holiday inn for 9/6 show already, one would think that if tickets were going on sale on monday you would have some confirmation somewhere.

None of the usual suspects are showing tickets, Razorgator, Stubhub, I checked those just to see and there's still nothing. Have they ever given less than a weeks notice?

Funny thing is, Radio Margaritaville usual gets their tour info from this site
But Not to worry, in past years they don't make the date official on TM until a few days before the onsale.

Me too! Our group has stayed there the last 3 years, it's clean, close and reasonably cheap. Hopefully we'll meet before that at Breakwaters!
