Not Labor Day weekend but Labor Day week is close enough!

What, you already have other plans? I don't know what I'm doing THIS Thursday, much less one six months from now.BottleofRum wrote:SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Hey, cuz... Looks like we oughtta get great seats then, eh?BottleofRum wrote:Not Labor Day weekend but Labor Day week is close enough!
and I am not even sure if I can make it Thursdaydoes this fall under the "starting a thread under false pretences" rule?

no other plans but who knows what work requirements I will have on that Thursday...I work at a college and that is the first week of classes.popcornjack wrote:What, you already have other plans? Apparently there is a presale but only for ticket brokers. You can actually buy tickets from them already... Price gouging is particularly outrageous this year. They must be making up for last year.
Let's see... get good seats and a 2nd job to pay for them or settle for lawn seats?
Looks like I'll be sitting on the lawn this year...

good luck. there is nothing left of the lawn at Great Woods and those tickets will sell first, I bet.
Personally, I would rather sit on the lawn for 30 bucks than buy seats in the back sections which aren't even under the roof . . .
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

I am pretty sure this show will be almost sold out before it goes out to the general public on 3/10. Cheapest lawn seats are going for $170 from the brokers (I paid that for 2nd row in Foxboro). Back sections start at $240+.drunkpirate66 wrote:dewyduster wrote:Apparently there is a presale but only for ticket brokers. You can actually buy tickets from them already... A good friend of mine works for Fidelity. He has been offered tickets from his boss . . . I know that the Tweeter Center (atleast in Mass. but probably everywhere) does alot of promotions with local business . . . this is my guess as to where the tickets are coming from. I don't think any of the brokers have bought tickets, yet, from ticketmaster or anyone else . . . I think that people are selling them who got lucky through the promotions.dewyduster wrote:I am pretty sure this show will be almost sold out before it goes out to the general public on 3/10. Hello New England Phans......
My wife and I will be out in our "Margaritaville bus" for both shows. We are having it driven out and we are flying in for four days. We are excited to get back to Great Woods after the Gillette experience.
All BNer's are welcome, so stop by. Look for a 45' Country Coach black/gold tour bus with "FINS BUS" California plates. This will be my 10th year at Great Woods for the shows, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the best tailgate on the east coast!

Glad you're going to be back! I think you were parked next to us at the 9/2 show last year. We were the large group with the bus, large tent and tiki bar.SDPirate40 wrote:Hello New England Phans......
