Yesterday I mentioned the brides who have been emailing me asking about
Saturday's forecast. I've also received a few about the all important Jimmy
Buffet Concert too. So as brides and grooms hope for Love and Luck and as Brahma
Fear builds in you regarding Saturday's forecast, here are the details. After
all, It's My Job.
We're watching Tropical Storm Hanna and between her Changes in Latitudes
(and our) Changes in Attitudes it's time to accept that this storm is Bigger
Than the Both of Us. A First Look shows that Hanna should start bringing us
light rain by the afternoon Saturday, it becomes moderate through the evening,
and the heaviest rain falls in the Middle of the Night, which perhaps might
have you wishing for Another Saturday Night. The Banana Wind could gust to more
the 60 mph overnight as the Barometer Soup falls with the center of the
storm passing through. Barefoot Children in the Rain could be splashing through
rainfall totals on the order of 3+ inches. But before you rush to take what's
behind Door Number Three and think about Changing Channels, just know that
Come Monday (in fact, come Sunday afternoon) the sun will return so Pats fans
won't be sitting in the rain.
While we'll be enjoying sunshine through the latter half of the weekend and
next week, remember that Everybody's Got a Cousin in Miami and you better
warn them about a very powerful hurricane (named Ike) heading their way. Lady, I
Can't Explain it, but the tropics are active and we're watching them every
second of the way.
Clearly, I Can't Be Your Hero Today and I'm anxiously waiting for my Time To
Go Home, but Pete will keep you updated with the latest on Hanna…Ain't He a
Genius? Okay, I'm done with the Cliches now. That's my Story and I'm Sticking
to It. After all, It's 5 o'clock Somewhere.

Excellent . . . according to the latest, the eye of Hanna (or what's left of it) will be right over my house in CT at 2:00 am Sunday morning, and then right on top of the Foxboro Comfort Inn shortly after (where we are staying after the show).

I am still of the opinion that the storm will go out to sea before it has a chance to hit New England, or it won't arrive when most of the weather geniuses say it will, but later.

. . . At this point it doesn't matter. BRING ON THE RAIN, BABY!!!

Think of it this way, the shows that Buffett has played when it rains are usually pretty good AND no intermission.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

We'll be in the VIP lot this year - 2 Blue canopies tied together, and hopefully not airborne....

Maybe BottleOfRum will grace us with a pass through - last time we shared a drink was the bus trip with the Tiki Bar !!!!
It's a semi-true story, believe it or not.
I made up a few things, and there's some I forgot

I have resigned myself to the fact that it will rain most of Saturday. It will be one hell of an experience. I'll be packing extra clothes in my SUV so I can change when I get wet.

With the rain expected all day I want to encourage all ladies to wear white t-shirts..... pass the word.......

Anyone hear if they are letting people into the parking lots yet for todays show??

Bring on the rain, 2006 was awesome when it down-poured, made it that much more fun.
