. . . I agree. Definitely a WEAK move by whom ever. This would have been better handled as a postponed show, for the benefit of the far travelers.BottleofRum wrote:I hope the storm hit early Saturday AM now. If they are that worried about people's safety just cancel or PPD the show. But nope, they would rather screw everyone over and pocket the money. And I am not talking about the less of tailgating aspect, it is the people who were not planning on getting there until mid-late afternoon.
36 hours notice, I bet there will be thousands of people who won't know about this change.
There are a bunch of us from BN at th Comfort Inn.....I'm heading out in a few hours to drive down, as soon as I get my a$$ off BN and pack the caricarus wrote:

What are others doing about the room situation?
Did you give me your number? And do you have mine? If not, let me know.C-Dawg wrote:cool, I have his phone number and plan on calling him later today too.docandjeanie wrote:I left Jack a message

As lame as it may be, we should be in the lot no later than 9:00 am.

Huh? The far travelers might not be able to afford another long road trip and/or plane ticket. This way they get the show....icarus wrote:This would have been better handled as a postponed show, for the benefit of the far travelers.

One of my biggest disappointments at JB concerts is just shuffling back to the room still on a high from the music and the experience and going to bed because I was so dog tired.
Now I can party before, party at, and party after !!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!
I'm at the Red Roof, so rather than drive somewhere else, I'm going to stay put and meet a whole new group of interesting people who love Jimmy.
Are you sure we would have to cancel the room today? I was under the impression we could cancel until 4pm on Saturday. Maybe I read it wrong?tryin' to reason wrote:Keeping the room.icarus wrote:. . .
