yes... can you believe last year i went to 10+ shows and this year I'm only going to 4. Guess I'd rather spend time with you know who when he's not working...
The things you do for love....

But I will get to GW and Alpine. And Vegas. I'll hit the important shows.

momsrule27 wrote:Hi all,

This is weird - I just went onto Live Nation and did a search on Buffett. There are two sets of dates coming up. If you search by artist then just scroll down the page (don't click on link) I see Friday and Sunday on the front page but when you click on that link to the right to get to the page it shows Thursday and Saturday. :-? Then if you go back to the original search and click on the artist link Thursday an Sunday shows up. Do you think it's possible they are going to be adding 2 more shows? That would be awesome! :o Am I losing my mind or is this happening to others? All shows going on sale 3/10. Do you buy your tix through Live Nation or Ticketbastard? Just curious.

Can't wait - GW was THE best Buffet concert I EVER went to! We didn't go to any concerts last year - all fell on family events! So we are long overdue!

Also - hubby and I going to MOTM this year! YIPEE!! :D

Char

I do see what you are seeing

http://www.livenation.com/search/interm ... 20buffett/

it does say Fri and Sunday but when you click on each it gives the correct dates. My guess is the system is screwed up because of leap year or human error (or both).....but I think it is safe to say there will not be 2 more shows added to Great Woods, let alone 4 shows in four straight days, but it would be really nice if he did do 4 straight shows at GW. We could just stay in the lot straight through and party like Woodstock (minus the burning cars) of course.
Yeah, I was just caught up in a fantasy but like you said - prolly a computer bump. Damn - almost Parrotstock!

Ciao!

FINS UP!!
117 shows total . . . HOLY CRAP!!!

Don't know if that's a record, but it makes my 9 shows seem outright pathetic.

Yes, the 117 shows is real. Parrothead since 1987. Record....13 in 2000, starting with the Millenium show in LA. I must be nuts. Two wives, four girlfriends, and countless friends with me along the way. Tailgate vehicles ranged from a small convertible to a 30' boat towed in behind a suburban and two tour buses. Car license plates...FINS BUS and PIRET40. "Meet Me in Margaritaville" painted on the last bus. I have used frequent flyer miles and destroyed many a rental suburban going to the shows out east (sorry Hertz).

BTW....9 is golden, not pathetic. I have to say, after 25 it is a blur (but a good blur!).

Hope to see you at the shows. We are going to both Boston shows, Vegas shows, California shows (Rumor Jimmy is on Catalina Island this year), and any Hawaii shows.
Boats, (Tour) Buses, Bentleys, Bars & Babe (wife)

22 years of Buffett with 131 shows and counting!

Well...as poor parents of one lucky kid...and a really cool husky/lab...we will only be making one this year. GW. God I read about all of you hittin the shows everywhere from Timbuktu to that One Particular Harbor...and I am sooooo jealous.

Alas...I will make it count in GW though....and this year like last....its gonna take all week to recover. I suffered through withdrawl for like a month after last years show.

We got my brother and sister in law hooked in the show last year....so just be sure to leave us 4 tickets for 9/6!!!

Geez Louise.....I cant believe its exactly 7 mos to GW.

Anyways....ya'll have a safe 7 mos...and I look forward to hearing you Sat night in Mansfield.

P.S. Anyone ever stay at the Marriot Residence Inn Franklin...thats where we booked for this year...???
Kiss my ass I bought a boat...Im headed off to sea!!!

We stay there every year and will be there again this year. They have an outdoor patio with a grill so it's great for a pre-party the night before.
And as I grow older, there is so much that I do not know. I'm drawn to those who are bolder and go where no one dares to go...

We are in for both, will have the finnabago with us, after the customary spring repairs, with our cornhole game, ice luge, syringe shots etc... Lookslike we are going to Alpine and perhaps Vegas, depending on dates. So glad we are back to the free parking no stress re when and where we can park. Good luck to all getting tix.

I don't know how it is played but I think I will avoid the cornhole game... :o
