I have the Canon 720IS. I like it - very versatile. Have not really taken any pictures in low light yet, so I don't really know how they'll come out. But there are settings for night/low lite.

I've done a lot of research online recently for both a camera and camcorder I bought. I don't think I've ever found a review for either that said that a consumer level camera or camcorder worked great in low light. I automatically thought I wouldn't want to buy this or that because they weren't great in low light. It seems to me that if you want something that performs well in low light, you'll have to get into a higher level of camera. As for consumer level stuff, I'd say you'll just need to find something that meets your needs all around and hope for the best in low light.

I have the Panasonic DMC-TZ1. It's a great camera, the screen is nice size and I love the 10x optical zoom.

If you already have two point and shoots it's time to move on to a DSLR like the Rebel XT. You'll be able to do a lot of things you can't do with a point and shoot.
