Found this story about an assassination attempt on the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger

Not surprising.
In the movie, Gimme Shelter, it was evident that the Angels were p*** at him for not covering their backs more, even after video pretty clearly showed their guy at the front stage shivving a crazed fan.
Lucky for Mick, they were not nearly sophisticated enough to carry out the "vendetta".

"Mangold said the men tried to reach Jagger by sea. "The boat was hit by a storm and all of the men were thrown overboard," he was quoted as saying. They all survived but made no other attempt on his life, Mangold said."
Good thing for Mick it wasn't a bunch of pi$$ed off parrot heads,
I think we would have fared better on stormy seas...
or at least had more fun on the boat

I had never heard it before either but a DJ on one of the local radio stations here in NY was talking about it this morning. He said it's been fairly common knowledge within the music industry since the early '80s.

Probably a book coming out, is what I am thinking. I never heard this story until the other day.
