Just prior to the concert starting a guy had a heart attack in his seat and a nurse that was sitting next to us go to him to help. After he was taken out by medical, the nurse said she thought he was dead. Bit of a downer.

Lakewood again, I want to say 1997 or 98, getting old and the memory is failing, midway through the show torrential rain with lightning for the rest of the show. Wet and cold but the lightning made it pretty exciting.
I was there.. the lightning was horrible!! sky to ground.. I was a little nervous!

wothout a doubt last years first Gillette show... parking lot was great, the show was atrocious :-?

The Gillette show was pretty bad. The parking lot was great though. One of the 1997 Great Woods shows, I think the Havana Daydreaming tour Buffett seemed to be very subdued on stage, sitting on a bar stool a lot. The next day the newspaper review of the show revealed Buffett was sick and almost cancelled the show, so he gets a pass for sticking it out.

There was also a 4pm Great Woods show he did about 8 or so years ago that was memorable because the sun sets behind the lawn so as it was setting it was beating down on you no matter where you were and you couldn't see the stage because of the glare. Plus it was very hot that day. Thankfully he hasn't done a 4pm show there since.

I was at that show too. It was the last one of the tour that summer and I really got the feeling the band and Jimmy just wanted to get the hell out of there. That's the only time I'v ever felt that at one of his concerts.

I would not say that I have been to a bad show, just some less desirable things have happened at shows. I think it was Alpine '02, my first Alpine show and it was maybe 40 degrees and I think it ended up being a little wet also. Plus I have never been a fan of the sound at Alpine.

We also had someone get arrested but we were able to get him out in time and we got to the show but then it rained the whole time.

Weather hasn't always been great, but at least I got to see Buffett in concert! I always try to make the best with what I get! It rained so much in Chicago once, tons of people were leaving early and someone left a big tarp on the hill so we did what any drunk parrothead would do...turned it into a slip-n-slide! Good times!

There was a show in the early/mid 80's at Poplar Creek, about the time he and Jane seperated. Seemed like the show was only about 45 minutes long and no energy at all. I almost never went back again, as it was, I think it was 3 or 4 years before my next show

i have never really been to a bad show.

worst two that come to mind...torrential rain at buckeye lake and we had a car in our caravan breakdown one year on the way to cincy, rolled into the venue around 6

but the shows were still good

PNC was the "worst" buffett show i have ever seen. I have never seen a bad show but, if he played at PNC again I would be very disapointed. Parking lot sucked and there was no lawn and I saw fights. If you see a fight at a buffett concert something is not right.

Camden in 2003 - fun tailgate, show was good (my first and only lawn with very good friends), but I missed a few people not being there. ;)

In Tinley 2004, we flew in the day of the show. It cost me $35.00 for a cab which had a flat tire. Got to the motel, no beer or store near by.

Martina Mcbride made it all better though!

Frank, didn't know what to do.. he thought I smacked my face on the concrete.. I layed there facing the ground for a few moments b/c I didn't know what just happened.. Once the show started I was so scared of getting knocked over again that I wasn't really paying attention to the show.. just all the idiots behind me.

Sadly that is the last Buffett show I've been to too! :(
Christina, is that you?!?!?

At least you got some ribs and homemade potato salad in Philly!

Yep! It's me!! Hi Honey! Those were some of the best ribs I've had to date! I'm sitting here in training and my mouth is watering just thinking about them! Hopefully we'll catch up with each other this summer!

Charlotte 2006 was a little bad, but only because of the weather. It rained and rained and rained. We had seats on the lawn. It had been sunny all day tailgating, so we weren't prepared for the rain---no umbrellas, etc. I had broken my arm earlier that week, so I was miserable. But Jimmy was great!

We met a couple from Kaeser North Carolina. They were hilarious! Lost touch with them though...

Was there. Just as we walked into the venue, the gates of hellation rain fell upon us. Luckily we had seats. When we turned to look at the lawn, the mud caked on you guys was a site. Sorry you were in it. BTW did you happen to notice anybody stop, drop and pee at the foot of the lawn right as the show was starting?

The only one I have been to was Frisco and it
was really just the drunks all around. Don't get me
wrong I drink, and will be there this year can't
wait to be part of the tailgate.

No...Was that you? We will be tailgaiting in Indy this time. I think I'm going to invest in one of those tall tents with a bucket of kitty litter. Drinking rum and coke all day leads to many bathroom breaks, and the porta potties are gross...
