Just saying good-bye to all this snow.
Now we have flash flooding.
This was my pool last week.

That's great!

After temperatures of nearly 60 degrees here yesterday, last night we got some major thunderstorms, which turned to freezing rain and sleet, which turned to snow.
This morning the snow on the ground was nearly 3 inches (in addition to the 55 + inches so far we've received this winter, and more coming on Wednesday and Friday).
60 degrees yesterday, and this morning the temperature was 14 degrees with wind chills of -4 below.
When I was leaving work to come home this morning at 6:00 AM, the doors to my car were frozen shut.
Did I ever mention how much I deeply and truly LOATHE this f'ing arctic wasteland we call Iowa?
I hate it ALMOST as much as I hate winter itself.
