Heather Dee Perry (born February 1, 1974) Is An American Visual Artist, Vocalist, Dancer, Record Producer, Songwriter/Composer and Philanthropist. She is from English, Scottish, Irish, French, American Indian (Mohawk) and Mother Land descent. Best known by Her Stage names, Goddess - HEATHER - HDP - HD - DEE PERRY - World Girl - HEATHER TRUE FEATHER and AKA "Changing Spider Woman", as She has many names She goes by, HEATHER DEE PERRY will always be Her real name.

Her Music features many genres, from Ska, R&B, Soul, Funk, Pop, Reggae, Latin, Greek and Middle Eastern, Asian, Rock, to Punk, as Her lyrics take you from the ancients into the now, and straight into the future.

A Visual Artist and accomplished entertainer by 2000, really breaking boundaries, a featured artist with Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band, as a "Reeferette", under HK Management. A Radio City Rockette, and soloist, a Temptress on the Scandalous Fox television show, Temptation Island, country music artists such as, Alan Jackson, featured in, "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" video, and was part of the CMA's with Jimmy Buffett and "The Coral Reefer Band" which earned a CMA award in 2001.Other country artists which include Clint Black, Martina Mcbride, all during 2000 to 2005.

Biography

Heather Dee Perry, the daughter of and Debra Ann (Jennings)Perry, James Henry Perry Jr, was born breech (feet first)in Alexandria Virginia and raised in Stafford County, Virginia. Her Middle name "Dee" taken from her Grandmother, Dolores. Growing up in Stafford she had a southern mind but was Motivated to accomplish "world support", She directed Her energy to the love of music, all cultural dance, voice, acting, theatre arts, and creative visualization to move people in a positive and energetic way of seeking the benefits in creative visual as well as speaking Her mind through movement.

Heather has two younger brothers, Jimmy Joe Justin Perry, and Jesse James Perry who are also visual artists as well.

Five days after she graduated high school, she was able to study more about the world traveling and entertaining on cruise ships. 150 countries later and so much knowledge of life in each country, Heather decided to speak for things she felt needed to be said. Her mind was put to work as a lyricist and to keep positive words in the "not so positive" lyric based world of music in the start of the 2000's years.

As the war goes on, and our leaders are fighting over oil, and forgetting about just the basics of everyday life, wasting all their energy fighting over a cause of power between two men, while in the real world the "working class" are seeing a drop in everything, work, gas, energy, and mainly "food". This Sparked a very big concern with Heather, since she has lived within 3rd World countries. Underdog places such as Haiti, The Kogis in Columbia, The US American Indians, Indigenous peoples and also nations that have been so governed they have yet to see a meal in years and are being pushed into non-exsistance, is the channel which she enjoys speaking for. Living also in the "lap of luxury", touring the world on 5 star cruise ships, and private jet planes 3 to 4 times a week, has really put her mind to the test of what we can actually do with our energy and funds if we want to help anyone in the world.

While living in the Bahamas, she found solitude in the ocean and viewed such a place as a harmonious getaway for people around the world. The Music is what really caught peoples attention, reggae, ska, dancehall, with lyrics that flipped peoples mind and made them dance at the same time. With attitude, the smooth rap style vibe in her voice, and world pop visual, she found a calling to be a mediator for the people who are never heard, to the everyday chatter among Borders fighting for territory.

Her Objective is to bring the "New World", 3rd World, and The "Rich World" as together as they can, and to visually help the youth and the wisdom come together for a greater world balance through music.

Music career

A Trilogy Set To Release In 2010, (Name yet to be determined). This will be the first time Heather will release something of her own. The Cover Photo Provided from long time accomplished photographer, Debi Field will also be photographing "live events". A Live Tour, and radio tour are in the works to cover USA, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and Africa, where it will be documented as She will be speaking to many of the politically around each nation. Working out of the studio, "The Living Room", in the west coast on an (artist elite audio-technica AE5400 condenser microphone) Armoured Cable, (novation xiosynth 25 keyboard, Roland 880, 2480, VS 1680), Focusrite Voicebox, Yamaha Motif, Fishman Aura Keyboard, Vocoder, Pro Tools, Logic, Reason, Garageband, Bose speaker system. Various World Instruments, (Percussion by Rhythm roots), rainstick by Che Ermita, Woodstock Chimes Pipedream, Zildjian finger cymbals. Most other equipment from "Jetstream Productions".

"HEATHER" composed some of the trilogy alone in her studio on the west coast, tracks like, "Numbers" along with the indigenous chant-style song "Spi-Dee" chanting words such as, "Indigenous people, come alive", and the controversial lyrics in the song, "Girl with a Mouth" directed toward the Us President during the war while many people who feel they are forced to be silent. Another artist She has been working with side by side and with, "All Day and All Night" another title from a the trilogy, is Funky Guitar player and Producer, Paul Pesco, who has Produced many artists and who has had a long, giant career playing on every successful album from the early 80's until now. These two artists came together during a songwriting session on the movie "Hoot", Directed by Wil Shriner, based on a Carl Heisen book in 2005. Paul Pesco wrote this guitar track, "Barefoot Lullaby" along with long time friends Jamaican "Native" Wayne Jobson, a Producer and Radio Dj and Tina Gullickson another "Reeferette" from "The Coral Reefer Band..while HEATHER wrote the lyrics to "Barefoot Lullaby". Heather was living in the Bahamas at the time in transition moving to California. The next song they wrote together was, "Change, It's Inevitable" along with Rafa Padilla, a percussionist with Chris Isaak and Shakira, and also another Reeferette, and from Arrested Development Nadirah Shakoor.While recording the beginning stages in Ojai, California, Heather met Russel Walsmith a Math Genius who designs fractal images, and will be part of the visual concept for the live shows and videos.This added anticipation for the delayed album that was due out spring of 2008. Also another producer who has the in is Alex Teamer, a Young Vibrant R&B, Soul- Hip-Hop Producer who just showed up at Heather's doorstep one day.You will be hearing a lot from Mr Teamer in the future as well.

Other Musicians who are set to be featured on this album is her long time friend, songwriter, percussionist, and former band mate Mr. Ralph Macdonald,( Mr Magic, Where Is The Love and The world favorite "Just The Two Of Us"). They met during the first tour for "Buffett", back in 97, Ralph was in the same Limo coming in to meet for rehearsals. He has been a mentor and a good friend ever since. The voice of Paul "Pablo" Peggy from Jamaica, the Jam Rock Vibe. Gabe Rosales, the Funk Slappin bass Player out of San Juan Capistrano, Cali. featured on, tracks like, "Tambourine", and, "Spi-Dee". Gabe Rosales Will soon be Releasing His First Solo Album. Atiba Macdonald, another new upcoming songwriter, producer, and son of Mr Ralph and Grace Macdonald, his influences have a most interesting Caribbean hip hop rock flair, with beautiful melodies.

The anticipated arrival of "HEATHER" has sparked interests from around the world already. This future tribal funky rhythms will play a key role in starting a new "movement" from the music and new "movement" from "the people".

As The "Working Class" gets less and less from the Governed Planet, the people do not know who to turn to or speak to or through let alone trust.

Future projects

Heather has a film project documentary, "Brother Jesse", about a Man who inspired her as well as so many others in his life, with his perseverance from his early on sufferings from penicillin testing known as "The Marathon Man". "Brother Jesse", at the early age of 16 he was taken to an underground camp to test the penicillin drug, during the early "racial" years of the United States, as he came out from being put under, he then found his leg missing. "Brother Jesse" has devoted his life to his family and to help others see only great things to accomplish in life, and has helped so many people from dying and continues from that time until now, and so on in the future. This Documentary is truly an inspiration to all."Brother Jesse"

Having been through the "catch 22" in so many different governments throughout the world. HEATHER has New thoughts for Global Support. Many identify with Visa Issues for the territory lines the leaders of the governed nations. It is time the support from the "working class" will succeed in being heard.

Performer and Songwriter; Heather Dee Perry has united with the *Time After Island Time* show as their announcer. Time After Island Time, which began in October of 2003, has been covering "The Story of Music" and the people who create it since it's birth on Radio Margaritaville. The show is currently broadcast weekly on Radio JimmyDreamz (www.radio.jimmydreamz.com) with select shows being offered on TAIT-on-Demand (www.buffettnews.com/tait.html). The show is hosted by Paul Leslie who produces the show along with recording artist and entertainer Jeff Pike.
Heather Dee Perry is a former Radio City Music Hall Rockette, FOX Reality Television Personality and a Fan Favorite on Annual Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band Tours. Perry has signed on as the Official Announcer of the show where She will introduce each program and welcome Listeners.

Leslie and Perry met when He was writing a biographical sketch on Perry. Leslie comments, "Heather Dee Perry has been one of the biggest supporters of the show, She knows what the mission of the show is and I am very pleased to have her as a part of the team."

Project:Superhit formed when 2 people met on a song writing session for the movie HOOT, a 2006 film based on Carl Hiaasen's novel of the same name. Directed by Wil Shriner, and the music of Jimmy Buffett. Heather Dee Perry, Dancer, Singer, Songwriter, and "Coral Reefer Band Member" in Jimmy Buffett's Band was visiting Los Angeles at the time and staying with her long time friend, Ms. Tina Gullickson also of the "CRB." "Hoot" needed some music so another friend came by, by the name of "Native" Wayne Jobson, a Producer, Singer, Songwriter, and Radio DJ for Indie 103 in LA. Native Wayne produced bands like, "No Doubt" and Gregory Isaacs. A friend of Jobson's came by a funky guitar player by the name of Paul Pesco also a Singer and Songwriter who was there to help write the song for the movie. Two months later Heather moved to Hollywood from the Bahamas, and Project:Superhit was in the making..and the songwriting had begun.
Perry: "I came to LA to Make This Happen .. and I will not let anything sway me." In the Middle of 2 Albums out of a "TRILOGY,".2008 and the Political Campaigns are totally embracing the power of, "Change." Hearing the Conviction behind the Words, sparked a concern immediately with Heather and Paul, since in November 2006, Paul and Heather had Co-Written a song together, along with Rafa Padilla, a Percussionist with Chris Isaac and Shakira, as well as fellow "CRB" Member, Nadirah Shakoor. The song is called "CHANGE .. It's Inevitable".
