Attendees to the Frisco Feeding Frenzy have started a charity contribution challenge. All pay $5 for tailgate wristband. Challenge dares you to contribute $25 more. This was just posted on the st. louis post dispatch website.

If you’re a Jimmy Buffett fan, you should have skipped work yesterday. The tickets for the April 24 concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater are gone.

The 21,000 seat venue announced that the show sold out in approximately 15 minutes, making it the fastest sellout in the history of the venue.

They did go fast that's for sure. We have several friends who were shut out. So they say anyway, I think they were not as anal as us true Phans and not on Ticketmaster ahead of time.

I got 2 tickets in right-center and just noticed the seats are 22 and 24...I hope they are together! Anybody know the seating at Verizon well enough to know why it would have skipped 23? Possibly an obstructed view seat??

I think they do odds/evens.....
right side being evens. 23 is snuggled over by 21 & 25 on the left

Whew - thanks! I was so excited to get the tickets that I didn't look at the seat numbers! Hopefully these will be decent seats...I was offered 2 seats in the left lower level at first and wasted too much time looking at the seating chart...by the time I accepted them, they were gone. ARGH!!

This may have been covered in an earlier page but I didn't see it. Does anybody know the earliest check in time at Harrah's? The site let you choose when you were coming, but also said at some locations there were no check-ins before 6. Just wondering if that might complicate the pre-party somewhat.

I can't see a check in time on their site. I do see where they are considering "after 6pm" as a "late check in". I've never seen a check in time past 3pm. From my experience it just depends on which rooms are clean. If they are clean you're good to go, if not they'll make you wait.
I selected a 1pm check in request. I think we'll eat a big greasy lunch, to soak up the alcohol, then head to the hotel. If the room is not ready we'll start at the VooDoo lounge and have them call our cell when it's ready.

NOTE: At some locations your room may not be available until after
6:00 PM. Preferences can not be guaranteed.

We'll be coming straight from work and the wife wanted to be sure she had time to "freshen" up before we head out. Just wondered if anyone had stayed there before.
