Stayed there for the last Buffett show. If they have rooms ready you can check in. Usually they even will hold your luggage until rooms are ready. I do not think they have a shuttle so its either cab it or drive. DO NOT WALK... I repeat do not walk unless you are ready for a hike. You have to hike around a levy..

I can't see a check in time on their site. I do see where they are considering "after 6pm" as a "late check in". I've never seen a check in time past 3pm. From my experience it just depends on which rooms are clean. If they are clean you're good to go, if not they'll make you wait.
I selected a 1pm check in request. I think we'll eat a big greasy lunch, to soak up the alcohol, then head to the hotel. If the room is not ready we'll start at the VooDoo lounge and have them call our cell when it's ready.
In the 'reservations' section online it has the following.

NOTE: At some locations your room may not be available until after
6:00 PM. Preferences can not be guaranteed.

We'll be coming straight from work and the wife wanted to be sure she had time to "freshen" up before we head out. Just wondered if anyone had stayed there before.
Whoa, I didn't see that.....Thanks for lettin me know. I hope that's not the case. I did see where they are sold out now. But hopefully they won't have a full house on Wed night so they won't have ALL the rooms to clean.

Yeah, we're planning on getting in town around 2:00 or so but wanted to hit the Soulard and a couple of other places first, but it might be a better idea to go straight there and get a room ASAP, have a few boat drinks while the crowds gather, then hit STL on Friday.
There's no need for it to be 5 o'clock somewhere when it comes to boat drinks!!!!

We are going to try and leave as early as we can, but I really don't see us getting down there any earlier than 5 or so.

My apologies if that came across as an attack, but I'm still a little leary. My question stands. Did you buy the tickets? Scalpers are evil.

No I did not buy the tixs I am waiting on better ones to pop up as they always do closer to concert time. I only will use ticketmaster if I can get in the 1st few rows wich we all know never happens so I always e-bay the week of the show. I never have paid above face. Half price or better. No worries.. Phins Up!!

I wonder why this guy only did a 1 day auction? Why not take longer and let the price rise?

I have been watching tons of tixs on ebay and a majority went off as 1 day. Not sure why but within minutes of the tixs on sale lots on one day sales. I tracked about 20 of them and of those that had a high starting price or a buy it now. I dont think one of them sold a ticket. At least the ones I watched. It was all the auctions with no reserves that seemed to garner bids. THe lawn seats are going for at least double the starting price.. The reserved seem to be almost to slightly over face.

How do you keep from getting scammed on E-bay when buying tickets? If you print your own tickets off, what keeps people from printing off multiple copies and selling them, and only the first one through the scanner at the concert will get in? Last year in Vegas, my friend bought my ticks, and printed them off himself, and then had me print them off also for whatever reason, and it made me wonder what would stop people from screwing people over like this? I need to buy 6 tickets for another friend and I am afraid of this scenario. If anyone has any insight to this I appreciate it.

like anything you buy on ebay, you need to be careful who you buy from. Check thier feedback. If you are worried about it, then only bid on hard tickets, not the ticketfast printouts. Chances are if they sell a lot of tickets on ebay they are going to have hard tickets anyway.

I hope that helps.
