We'll be playing right across from the entrance to the Cynthia Woods Pavillion, at a place called Market Street. It's the strip center that Tommy Bahamas is located in. They will set up a stage, and it will be a parking lot tailgate party.
Terrific!!
It sounds like the park-like area behind Tommy Bahamas and will be a perfect place to gather :D
PERFECT!!!!!! :D :D :D

Looks like everything is starting to fall in place.

I have a room at the Hampton Inn if anyone wants it. Gonna cancel it at some point if not.

I don't supposed there is any reason to do a cell phone list since just about all of us have each others numbers anyway???

If so, I will be happy to do that.

Sounds like a plan. I usually have a couple in the back of my car from softball games but thought I would throw more in if we needed them for some of our out-of-towners!!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif] [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

go to http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl= ... n%26sa%3DN
and scroll down to the movie
At the end of the movie, you see Central Park---I'm thinking that is where we will be.

That was fun. I don't see why we couldn't use lawn chairs. I will throw a few in just in case. Better to have them and not need them!!

Thanks, Molly. That was a good little video.

The Woodlands sure has changed a lot. I haven't been there since 2003 and the Tiki Time Tour.

from an email i got from jerry..... info on his show sat night and monday

In case you haven't heard, Jimmy Buffett will be in Texas in a couple of weeks. He'll be playing concerts in Houston on Monday, April 21, and Dallas on Saturday, April 26. We'll be doing a few shows in the Houston area, in conjunction with those concerts. Our friends from Landshark Lager (the new beer from Buffett and Anheuser-Busch) will be helping us promote at these shows. Here's where we'll be:

Saturday, April 19
T-Bone Tom's (Kemah, TX) - THE party place on the Upper Texas Coast. This will be our first of 4 shows there this year. Get there early if you want a seat. The party gets bigger and better every year! (www.tbonetoms.com )

Monday, April 21
Market Street (The Woodlands, TX)
- This will be one helluva party! The day of the concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion, we'll be in the parking lot at Market Street (the shopping venue across the street from the pavillion) As Kelly McGuire says, "call your boss", and come party with us before the concert. The stage will be set up right over the fountain there. We play from 3pm-7pm.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

Janice- Jeanie and I usually call ahead and reserve one of the tables out in the 'backyard' at T-Bone Tom's when Jerry and the boys are playing. She's planning on doing that for the 19th. Maybe we can get an idea of how many from here plan on going too.
