I always liked spanish names (sounds more exotic).
Casa del Sol
Casa del Mar
Tiempo del Sol
Tiempo del Mar
or what about the Conch Republic of Jersey (or La República de la Caracola de Jersey)?
Declare your home to be its own sovereign nation, raise your own flag, secede from the union, and make your own rules at La República de la Caracola de Jersey.

Only if you're a "Benny" or "Shoobie". Maybe Casa del Benny.

Where on Jersey Shore? Not in my neck of the beach. We don't have many condo's on LBI.
Being an Islander all my life I would call it "Paridise Lost" but that's cuz I'm jaded by growth and over population & over visit-tion. I long for the day when I can move to a place from a Buffett song! A place where there's no long pants, long sleeves, long lines or shoes! People ask me where I'm planning on retiring to and I say St. Somewhere!!!!
You could call your piece of heaven "St. Somewhere". I won't mind

Plese don't take this the wrong way.. Your from NC and you come to the Jersey Shore??? You have some of the best beaches in the world on the Outer Banks why would you come here??? The OBX has world class fishing, big beautiful beaches and solitude if you want it.
Other than some tropical paridise I can't think of a better place than the OBX. And it's cheaper there. (Not as cheaper as it 10 - 20 yrs ago but cheaper)
Life IS A BEACH!!!!

Are you talking to me?? (Just kidding).
No, I don't go to the Jersey Shore...never been to Jersey although my grandfather was from Orange, NJ.
We have a place at the beach in NC,....and THANK YOU, yes, we do have "some" of the most beautiful beaches in the world (in my opinion). Ocracoke is my "one particular harbour". It is changing...I remember going there when there was only one police officer and no liqour store.

My grandfather built the first "stone/brick" house on the island (Ocracoke) in the 1950s.

Opps Mistaken Id !!! Sorry Mary Queen of Shots. I got you confussed with SmartWomaninShortSkirt. To people from NY the Jersey shore is heaven. For those of us who grew up here and remember when the Jersey Shore "was" heaven we dream of retreating to the OBX.

Dissing LBI and The Jrsey Shore?

Beachbum-RU dissing Long Beach Island (LBI) and the Jersey shore-shame on you? Though I didn't get to make my initial trip to OBX this past year (I did spend a summer in Atlantic Beach NC as a grad student at UNC) and realize that the Outer Banks have some of the nicest beaches whereever, I don't think you can do much better than LBI. LBI has among the nicest beaches anywhere (helps being 4 miles at sea) and it within 45 minutes of AC, 2 1/2 hours of NYC, 90 minutes of Philly, an horu or so from the Wildwoods, Cape May yada.
Yes I understand the greatness of warm water isolated beaches and great nature but you can find that to some extent on LBI. There's no place better in the summer than the Jersey shore. You can go to the boardwalk (be that a busy boardwalk such as seaside heights or Atlantic city or calmer boardwalk such as Belmar), Atlantic City, hand out on the island/Barnegat Light, fish, surf, go to broadway in NYC, Yankees, Mets and Phillies games-and concerts-it's March and I know I'm seeing Jimmy, Bruce, Bill Joel, Kenny Chesney, Robert Plant/Alison Krauss, Tom Petty and James Taylor plus the Yankees and MLB All Star Game SO FAR
this summer. Parts of the outer banks are WAY overdeveloped and if I want to get lost on the Jersey shore or LBI I can-try walking around Barnegat Light State Park or Island beach State Park (never even done that). Just inherited a few dollars due to two deaths including my fatherand my house if for sale-if you don't like LBI give me a good price on your house and I'm there!
