Well.... after getting all worked up and even having some words with the doctor this evening over her choice of words when trying to convey the seriousness of the situation, my wife has been having contractions 15 minutes apart for a couple hours now. :D

Maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do, it's the child in us we really value.

Never did with my one, either.

C-section here.. 25 years ago.. knew it was a possibility, and was fine that I had to.

YES! Contractions are GOOD! Keep her moving. If they're painful, tell her what my Mom said to me everytime I complained, "That's one contraction you never have to have again!"

If your Mom didn't have one you wouldn't have made it here, Jack.

I'm sorry but due to HIPAA regulations, that information can't be released.

:D :D

Actually, I don't know but I'm sure he will tell us when he's able. Thinking good thoughts, thinking good thoughts, thinking good thoughts....

Thanks everyone for your advice, well wishes and support. Friday around 7:00 my wife started feeling pains at regular intervals. 24 hours later, our new little 'keet Annabelle made her arrival. All of our stressing about delaying the induction turned out to be pointless. She arrived on her own a mere 5 hours before her due date. Everything went very smoothly. Mom and baby are doing great. I never could have imagined all of the emotions that come pouring out the moment your baby is born. It was amazing!!!
