A Ganglion cyst and a pilonoidal are nothing alike---trust me.

I've had a ganglion cyst on my wrist, too.
Our son had a pilonoidal cyst.....ick

Had one.....embarASSing and painful. My doc let it run its course and it released on its own. NEVER want to DOO that again. Found out after talking with others, very common and not life threatening. Good luck, a donut pillow and sitz baths help.
