Well, to break up the monotony

I read here regularly, but rarely post. I just want to say thanks to everyone for a really cool, enjoyable week. Ive been home from work sick all week and have had a ball reading (Ive been on constantly all week) all the tour date rumors and waiting for dates to announce. Feeding off of all the anticipation and trying to put the all the peices of guesswork together like a puzzle has been like a "medicine that no doctor could prescribe'. Its like Christmas Eve for Parrotheads !!!!!!

I got completely hooked on Buffett about 10 years ago but didnt get to a concert until 2003. We drove from New York to Cincinatti basically because I was on vacation and was bored. My wife and I got to the show about 1 hour before it started dressed in jeans and sweat shirts in case it got cold outside. We looked around and realized we were total dorks. we had no idea about the whole Parrothead/tailgating thing. Fortunately we learned quickly. Ive been to about a dozen concerts since. Our kids are huge Parrotheads tpp (although Im now realizing for my 17 year old daughter thats not always such a good thing, lollollollol) At the shows her and her girlfriends think I dont see them sneaking into the jello shots and margarita pitcher.

So far, Boston is a lock this year (I had way too much fun there last year) and even though Im no Red Sox fan, Ill go anywhere where its human nature to HATE THE NEW YORK YANKEES.........Philly is a most likely..........and 2 days (Adults only) on PUTIN BAY and a drive to Cincy for July 17 is really starting to look VERY appealing.

Well, its back to work for me tonight, lets hope no one has to have life interrupt their summer plans as it sometimes does. As Jimmy would say may the wind be at everyones back and hopefully everyone will have a very fruitful Parrothead summer.

P.S. Not sure what I can afford but a Jones Beach and MSG in September/October wouldnt hurt

I would root for Osama Bin Laden to take over the United States before I rooted for the Yankees to win a baseball game. Just thought Id throw that in.

I think the GREAT AMERICAN BALLPARK is the nicest stadium Ive been to

Boy, do we echo ALL of those sentiments .... from being homebound (the North Coast of Cleveland where we've had a blizzard for God knows how many days .... to NEVER being able to root for the Yankees .... will the tailgating ever start soon enough ????
