Someone mentioned in a previous thread that Walnut Creek has changed ownership/management. I've heard that Jimmy had a disagreement with the previous mgmt. So, I wonder if all the parties involved in booking JB have realized this. Has anyone heard whether there's even a negotiation in progress? Maybe we should all call Walnut Creek and beg them to extend JB an invitation. Would it do any good?

true, there's always common ground among PHs :D

have they had concerts at Wade Wallace Stadium before? I couldn't find anything on the website either way.

Ok so does anyone remotely know about an onsale date? How many people does the stadium hold? This isn't like a corporate event where you have to know someone to get tix is it? I am still a little skeptical but will be so excited if this is really happening!

I'm not aware of an official announcement confirming this date yet but clearly all the signs are pointing to it. Wallace Wade Stadium holds around 34,000 in the stands so add in the field seats and you're looking at quite a crowd. I don't imagine there'll be a shortage of tickets available but they haven't announced when (or if  ) they'll go on sale. Keep checking back right here 8)

Confirmed: Durham show June 7th

I just received an email from our PHC President asking us to let him know if we're interested in tickets to Buffett, Saturday June 7th in Durham, NC. No word from him about ticket cost or on-sale dates though.

All we need is a little patience...yeah...yeah... :pirate:
yes, I believe the last time we saw this particular GNR lyric quoted from f2c was last week on the Charlotte thread just before we got confirmation.

I think she's on to something  8)
