Yeah, I'll get to sleep in my own bed after this show, too.....

My family is flying up for the Charlotte show and the coming up again (with more of 'em) for Raleigh...no one in my family has ever visited me and my husband since we've moved...Nothing like a JB concert to bring family together!!! :D :D :D

Not sure how reliable this is, but someone on another thread said they called Duke. They said they haven't made a decision about using the basketball vs. football place. And they will know next week how and when the tickets will go on sale.

This is driving me crazy! None of this is confirmed (even the date or whether he's really coming to Durham). I can't wait to see this on Duke or Margaritaville's website with a tickets go on sale date!
I'd say Relax,

I've never seen a concert posted on BN as a confirmed date, then pulled back. If there wasn't good info, it would still be listed as a rumor.

There is no way that he is going to play Cameron (the basketball place) in June. It was 90 degrees in there the other night (when it was 30 or 40 outside) and it wouldn't hold but 6,000 at most for a concert. He'd play in the Cathedral before he'd play in Cameron :o
Never say never! :o
Just giving you a hard time  :P

Walnut Creek is in south, south, south Durham
Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel

just a different bat cave!

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should get a hotel. I live less than thirty minutes away and I make the drive to raleigh several times a week. However, tailgating and driving don't really mix, so I'm leaning toward the hotel. However, it's going to feel a bit weird staying in a hotel that close to home.

Hi, we're thinking about coming to Raleigh from Maryland. What's the tailgating like at this venue? Is it pretty much anything goes like Charlotte or is it restricted?

[smilie=coolup.gif] O.K. this is so much more than AWESOME!!!!! This show is actually close enough for me to take both keets and the grandparents. I can't imagine the summer getting any better!

Will make the show in Raleigh an introduction for the whole family and the shows at Nissan for the pirate in me! :wench:

Keets are onboard for this one......so I'm going to need a bunch of tickets and I just booked 1 more room at the Hilton...... :D

If anyone needs a room there, the price went up $10 since 5 pm yesterday. :o I think the Hyatt is on the other side of Bahama Breeze and Matt loved the flat screens.... 8)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

It's a Hyatt Place that's behind the Bahama Breeze.

You may have more success with rates booking the Hilton for Friday and Saturday vs. Friday
