Well since I am unable to go, that means there is an extra lawn seat. The group I was going with will still be heading out Friday night staying at the Sheraton. We bought the tickets off stubhub (ba$tard$) so we paid $70 each. If anyone is interested in this lawn ticket please PM me. I remember there being some who were still needing...

Just got off the phone with the bus owner. We should be there a bit before 1.

And we have power for frozen drink makers, sirius boomboxes, and the like.

That's awesome gonzo!

Where are we all meeting? At one of the hotels and then heading over?! I'm assuming the main tailgate is going to be in the VIP section.. can the folks that are not parking in the VIP section throw our coolers on the bus so we don't have to lug them across the parking lots?!

I'm getting excited... can't wait to see everyone! I haven't been to a show since 2005 so I'm more than ready for one!

OK.....cakes baked (OMG they look really good)
salsa made and marinating
sangria caressing some fruit
bar fixings washed cut packed
jello shots ready

I was going to soak some pineapple in rum but Bob wants to just drink the rum...... :pirate:

still need to pack up the million things on the dining table and figure out if we have clean clothes and need to find the shark fin bracket for the car......we're about 1/2 way there......I'm feeling pretty confident we'll be on the road by noon...... :D

Can somebody help me make the flabongo? :o Mingo is ready to good.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

That doesn't sound like a bad idea..

I have no idea where I am going so if we can follow someone who has been there, that would be great. We also have room in our car, if someone needs a ride or would be willing to hop in with someone and help with gas. either way.. :D :D jello shots are jell-ing nicely in the fridge.
Some people never find it, some only pretend, but me, i just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

The driver has us on a tight schedule, and he is protective of the bus, which is understandable. His words were" it's a bus, not a taxi service" so we're keeping the stops to a minimum.

It is a tour bus for a rock band, not a charter. The owner is a friend of a friend, and I want them to stay friends :D . And maybe do this again next year!

We unfortunately won't be able to pick up coolers, etc for anyone. If it was my bus and I was driving, that would be a different story.

Anyway, we'll let you know our location when we get to the venue.

Hope that doesn't put a damper on anyone's plans.
