Awesome on the Rock Band songs. I downloaded those and think it's hilarious to see the skinny punk-hair rocker singer sound liking our man, Jimmy! Also like how he re-recorded the songs with the reference to Rock Band in the Volcano song. I'll be lining up to play! lol

If we do not caravan in with w/ everyone, how exactly are to to identify where the BN tailgate is.. There is most likely a thread somewhere in the 200 or so pages but.... We do have a Priemier parking pass so we'd like to park as close as we could to all of our new friends we've yet to meet.. (we're shooting to arrive around 1) And yes we're virgins to Buffett concerts! Is there some sort of ritualistic test we'll need to pass in order to become full-fledged participants?? I'm excited!!

It's a video game for the PS2, PS3, and XBOX 360. You get to play "instruments" tied to songs playing on the screen. I'm sure I couldn't do it enough justice, so here is a link:

Ok...MAJOR JELLO ISSUE .... need help from someone who has done this before.
I am making the jello with the rum soaked pineapple....... I made the jello according to the box but i think there was too much rum in the pineapple (i know you can never have too much, but apparently jello can) and now I can't get it to gel. I made another box and they are chilling in the fridge now. any other suggestions as to what I should do? HELP...these are going to make it to Raleigh for Christine and everyone no matter what I have to to...haha

I tried that..aggghhh.....i am going to go to the store now and get more jello. add no water, except the boiling to melt the jello and then get some unflavored stuff to add to the consistency. They taste so yummy...they just have to make it. Thanks Christina! What time are you heading over tomorrow?

I'm no jello expert but what if you put them in the freezer for just a little while. You think that would help them "set up" or harden?!?

We're bringing some pineapple jello shots too. Figure we can not have too many right???? Woo-hoo!

I am just really not happy today

Last weekend, we told the kid, in the midst of a string of bad behavior, that she needed to shape up or no concert. She was told that if her little behavior card at school ended up on red at all, she could not go. She also had to behave and help out around the house to move her ticket up the little chart I made .

Yesterday, she was on red.

Then, I learn yesterday that the project I've been working on and team who I've been working with all just lost our jobs. Fortunately, I have moved to a new position in the company; not everyone did.

Then, our friend arrives from NJ to RDU. She gets one look at a thermometer (at 8:00 last night) and gives me that look she gives me when I have crazy ideas.

This morning, I wake up sick to my stomach. Was it the rum or is it the nerves? Who knows, but I'm not feeling well. The humidity is not helping.

1 good-sized doubt about whether or not I'll even want to go tomorrow. I just don't feel like doing anything at this point, certainly not anything in the 47 billion degree heat. Especially when I know what I can do with the $$ I'd make in the parking lot. (Buy a ton and a half of Conch Fritters at JJ's Texas Coast down in Cruz Bay)

So, if you happen to see a solitary angry-looking guy in an orange Hawaiian Shirt stalking the parking lots, that's me.
