Ok...MAJOR JELLO ISSUE
.... need help from someone who has done this before.
I am making the jello with the rum soaked pineapple....... I made the jello according to the box but i think there was too much rum in the pineapple (i know you can never have too much, but apparently jello can) and now I can't get it to gel. I made another box and they are chilling in the fridge now. any other suggestions as to what I should do? HELP...these are going to make it to Raleigh for Christine and everyone no matter what I have to to...haha
UH OH.... did you do the jello recipe that is for that lovely fruit jell-o mold thing that everyone's grandmother has made at some picnic? That recipe might be better since the pineapple chunks have so much liquid in them

You need to add more non-alcohol liquid. Make some more regular jello, mix it in, and then they should set.

You need to add more non-alcohol liquid. Make some more regular jello, mix it in, and then they should set.
That'll DILUTE the alcohol content!

Yes (lanyard logo), also I highlighted the names of those BNers who will be on the bus on the contact list. So, if anyone has a problem in locating the bus/tailgate, you can call any of the BNers who are highlighted.

ok jello shots are jello-ing as we speak. Quick run to Harris Teeter, bought two more boxes of jello, unflavored jello mixed it up, added a little rum for flavoring. I think the trick is no cold water...and that is what i did wrong. need to be straight jello, boiling water and pineapple. The extra water plus the alcohol in the pineapple made it tuff to gel. Hopefully they will be ready to go by 5:30 when i head out.

ahhh that may not be the best thing then.
Though depending on how much alcohol he has had.. it may be amusing. Granted, I am going to be several states away when that tangent occurs and won't get to hear it. But I'd still take the super soaker to him.

Ok Raleigh BN contingent ....... bring me back some good Critterworthy Stories. Wish I could be there ..... instead I'm camping out with my 3rd grade son's cub scout pack at Cunningham Falls State Park in Maryland in the 95 degree heat wave this weekend .... wish me luck.
