I'm back home in Texas.... after a long nap I think I am almost human again.
Boy was it HOT in North Carolina! Thank you to Dave and Scott for organizing the tailgate! It was a great location! Yall saved the day!
Naughty lessons were administered during the day...
shannon - you know i love you more than my luggage! It looks like a can of pepto bismol blew up all over the room!
Larry - I told one of my friends you nicknamed my clevage "the grand canyon". It led to a very funny and odd conversation about viewing the landmark, what were the requirments to be an employee of the canyon and if I offered tours
Thanks again to everyone! It was great to see my old friends and make new ones.
oh yeah - I'll be calling the doc first thing Monday morning

We got just home from an absolutely wonderful weekend. A few quick notes before we unpack and collapse:
Bob and I can't thank Scott, Dave and Jason enough for organizing the tailgate. We had a great spot, tons of food and they ran it with great efficency. A lot of thought and hard work went into what you did for us and we appreciate it
Jello shots will liquify in 1 minute in 100* heat. But they will gel again if stuck in ice.......good to know......
It was so much fun seeing everyone and talking face to face. I realized when we were driving home, I didn't get a chance to talk with as many people as I wanted. Time definitely got away from us.
Bogarts.......yum!!!! What a great place for Sunday brunch!
Thanks to everyone for welcoming my keets. It's amazing how comfortable they felt. The oldest was proudly showing the tiger paw on her butt to a chosen few after only a couple hours......
I believe WS wins the pool.....
only because it was really HOT and Larry was late in getting started......
The only negative for the whole day was that Walnut Creek was not prepared for the thousands of parrotheads that decended of the place. It took us 45 minutes to get into the venue at show time we missed Hot Hot Hot and 1/2 of Homemade Music. It also took forever to get out the gates. They best part was the drive in and out. They would need to have more gates open and people manning them to get the crowd to their seats before the show starts. Hopefully they have figured that out.......

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
"While the rest of the species is descended from apes, redheads are descended from cats." Mark Twain
