Not sure how reliable this is, but someone on another thread said they called Duke. They said they haven't made a decision about using the basketball vs. football place. And they will know next week how and when the tickets will go on sale.

This is driving me crazy! None of this is confirmed (even the date or whether he's really coming to Durham). I can't wait to see this on Duke or Margaritaville's website with a tickets go on sale date!

Thanks PackPhan and pema. I will have to take you up on that drink offer. It's been a long, long, time since I've drank anything but water or Gatorade. :pirate:

I'd say Relax,

I've never seen a concert posted on BN as a confirmed date, then pulled back. If there wasn't good info, it would still be listed as a rumor.

There is no way that he is going to play Cameron (the basketball place) in June. It was 90 degrees in there the other night (when it was 30 or 40 outside) and it wouldn't hold but 6,000 at most for a concert. He'd play in the Cathedral before he'd play in Cameron :o

Shannon, you're not making this any easier!

I'd almost cancel my OKC trip that I have set for the week prior to this show.

OY, decisions, decisions.

I don't mind hooking up with the local PH groups, but a bar on a Saturday? For once, I'm going to disagree. This is a chance to pull out the grill, the tents, and everyone can get there early. Let's talk to Frosted and the Raleigh locals this weekend and see what they have in store.

I just can't leave my grill out on this one, there's only so many Buffett concerts on a Saturday in the Carolinas remaining. My grill would never forgive me

Just my two cents

Once we find out the parking details, we can figure out where the best tailgating spot will be. Those that live close by or are staying in hotels can park their car in their spot of choice on Friday night and walk or get a ride home/to their hotel.

ok....just talked to a friend who graduated from Duke

she said there is very little parking there, alot of people park on the street and in a parking deck. Sometimes they allow parking on the intramural field.

So I guess our best bet it to get there early enough to secure a spot in one of the close by lots....
