PNR / DTE Lot ...

Post by JG-Detroit »

Has anyone had any issues at the PNR or the DTE lot with tailgaiting?? Or is all GOOD as long as beverages etc. are discreet? I know that DTE can sometimes be grumpy about beverages.

Also, can tailgaters w/o tickets party in the DTE lot during the show?
Thanks!

Damn...70F today. It's almost time to have the deck opening party at my place.

Good thing I leave for Kentucky tomorrow and can stock up on liquor at dirt cheap prices due to the lower tax rate :pirate: 8) :pirate: 8)

Just don't forget your plastic cups. We brought a ton more than what we needed last time and ended up giving most of them away to people who didn't bring any.

Just to re-ask JG-Detroit's question ~ I'll be ok to come tailgate without tickets to the concert, right? This will be my first time doing the tailgate & hope to buy tickets there thing.

Thanks!

Plastic Cups T.B......We didn't need any stinking plastic cups!
Seriously, it was Corona in a bottle all over the lot for us!
Again, JB @ The Knob is not an ordinary P.K. Show!!

Lot security was telling everyone around us (and us) they couldn't have glass bottles when we were there for the monsoon in '06. Maybe some of them didn't give a rip...

I recant my comment.....I DID use a giant plastic mug when we went walk-about the lot cuz I could TWO Coronas in a mug-full!! We tail-gated in the grassy area between the front lot & the back lot so we probably didn't have any P.K. Police paying us any attention.

Hope you enjoy this year's show T.B. Let's hope for DRY weather with temps in the 70's!!!! 8)

It was the best time of my life even though a little rain did fall. It was my first concert so nothing tops the first time....

In 2003 they were a lot more picky than they were the year of the
monsoon. I think they usually try to ask most people, but as long as
you don't look like a trouble maker and tell them you're meeting up
with others who have your tickets, they are usually pretty cool about it.

The PNR is pretty much a free-for-all so no worries there :pirate:

Bummer about not making it to the show, but the 3 days of pre-parties should be a good start in making up for it! :pirate:
