I'd like to wake up to the Boat Drunks' "Callin' in Gone." Now, I wake up to the delightful BAAP BAAP BAAP honking sound of the clock radio. Ugh. Hearing that on Mondays makes me want to shake my fist in rage.

Do they still have that obnoxious news teletype sound going in the background :o That thing can cause an instant anexiety attack

I love NPR :D
"KFWB...news 98" yes, I've heard that darn jingle my whole life, you'd think they'ed get a new one....I ALWAYS request NPR over KFWB and I don't color code stack my dishes......but I think it's adorable.
Yes, it is :D Just one of many things she does that makes our house home. We used to live in Ventura County so KNX 1070 had better reception. Still have the same clock radio :D
got to stop wishin' got to start fishin'....

Sorry. I thought the thread said Waking up Jimmy Buffett. I guess I'm getting old and can't read anymore.

It's ok, we will still let you tickle his feet with the feather to wake him up.

I always wake up to Jimmy. I have to switch the cd every once in awhile, though, cause I get sick of the same old thing every day. Right now I have OPH in there, which means I wake up to "Stars on the Water". It's a pretty good song to wake up to.

I would definately like to wake up to Jimmy Buffett every morning!
My thoughts exactly!!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Having gotten my fantasies out of the way I use Jimmy in the shower to get me awake for the day. I especially like it when "It's my Job" hits the rotation - somehow it helps!

I don't wake up to JB, but I always have a JB CD on in my jeep. Even my 5 yo grandson loves to rock with Jimmy Buffett! Once he hears JB come on, he yells Jimmy Buffett Baby! Lets rock Parrotheads!

hhmmmm..... I wonder where he picked that up from? :pirate:
