They were even better than the 10 Cane version! :o

What color were the drinks?I have had complaints when the Mojitos are not crystal clear.( Maybe next time I should say make your own damn drink  )

I do not get the hoopla about the 10 Cane, personally I am not a fan of it.
not crystal clear? you make impure mojitos? how dare you???? :D
Not only does the Rum "tint" them So does the Maui Gold sugar,
I still like them!Impurities and All!
hey, if they are drinking your rum.. they can stfu :D
I used to know a guy who got all bent out of shape when I'd use dark rum in my boat drinks. I thought he was going to cry when I made a strawberry daquiri with Meyers. I told him, if you do not like it, go buy your own damn rum. He never said another word.
Have you ever noticed it is ALWAYS the moochers that b**** when you do not use their preferred spirit?

Please forgive me if this has already been asked...

Currently my favorite drink is pretty basic: Mount Gay Rum & Tonic

What other rums would be good with tonic?

thanks!

Well, I am drawing a complete blank right now. I like Mount Gay. I am thinking Sailor Jerry's might be tasty.

Try Appleton, you will like it.

If you are drinking the basic Mount Gay (Mount Gay Eclipse) you MUST try Mount Gay Extra Old,
it is a fantastic high end mixing rum as well as being very good by itself.

If you can find it (having a hard time right now). Try El Dorado 15 year.
Great stuff. It is a sin but I've really enjoyed it with a splash of ginger beer.
Other one I am fond of right now, Goslings 151 added to plenty of ginger beer. I usually go about 1/3 cup to a bottle of ginger beer (I really like the Goya brand).
Let me know if anyone else tries it (shoot a PM).
Chad

Local lady wants to give me a shot of Pyrat. Thinking this could be the next very good rum that I can get just about whenever.

Thanks! Tried the Mount Gay Extra Old last night, it was very good, reminded me of the aging of a single malt scotch. Also looking to try Appleton.

I've said this before. I like Gosling's Black Seal.
I would like to try Traveller's One Barrel, but you can't get
it in this state unless you buy a half a case. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?
