Buffett at Churchhill downs?

Post by louisville parrothead »

Has anyone heard the rumor that Jimmy will perform at Churchhill Downs, the home of the KY derby? They have only had two shows there, The Rolling Stones and the Police but this would be an awesome show if it is true.

I haven't heard anything about that. However, the jockey, Robby Albarado, that is riding Jimmy's horse, Pulaski County, in New Orleans on March 20th is riding Denis of Cork in the Kentucky Derby. I don't know if that means anything.

Probably not. Jockeys ride for many different trainers and owners. But the fact that the Jockey that rides for Jimmys stable has a mount in the Kentucky Derby is cool.

They will ride more then one horse in a race day. Albarado is one of the top Jockeys at Saratoga during the Summer!!

I sure hope this is true. That means I could see Jimmy 4 times this year!

They sure do. We don't pay them nearly enough for just one mount a day.

Robby rode the great Curlin last year in the Derby :D
