C'mon Jimmy!

My backyard is available, the date is open, I have a tiki bar and seating for at least 35.

What is he waiting for????? [smilie=shake.gif]

You know, they used to have concerts at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium, or whatever the official name of the place is. That's where my brother saw The Monkees. The opening act was some left handed guitar player you might have heard of, guy by the name of Hendrix.

Niiiice . . .

Back in the day, before my parrothead hatched, I saw Olivia Newton-John and Hall & Oates there.

Was outside listening to Genesis, Asia and Toto.

I didn't get to see Hendrix. My parents thought I was too young to go, I think I was about 14.

I've seen Hall and Oates like 4 times . . . My parents dragged me out to shows when I was a kid . . . I have such an appreciation for music due to my misled youth.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

I'm not ashamed to say (well, maybe a little) I'm still a fan. The show I say I believe was the H2O tour with Scandal as the opening act.

I caught them on a reunion tour about 10 years or so ago . . . awful. I think it may have been acoustic, I have blocked it. Needless to say, they should not unplug!

It's between Kew Gardens and Woodside on the Long Island Railroad.

Thankfully, my train bypasses Woodside and one hops, 15 minutes, into the city.

Forest Hills was the home of the US Open until 1978.

The area around, well, next to, to the east of the stadium, is a cool neighborhood based after a small English town, called Forest Hills Gardens.
